DJ Ryan Ashton is a North Devon based wedding DJ with a lifelong passion for music, performance and creating unforgettable dance floors.

Growing up as a street dancer, Ryan began mixing music for competitions from a young age before going on to perform across nightclubs, weddings, charity events, black tie balls, birthdays, garden parties, restaurants and coastal sunset sessions.

Every wedding is different, which is why the music should be too. Rather than simply working through a set playlist, Ryan works closely with each couple to understand the music they love, the songs they want to avoid and the atmosphere they want to create.

From the first dance and early evening favourites through to singalongs, throwbacks and late night dance floor tracks, the aim is to let the night naturally build while reading the room and adapting to your guests.

Can't Have a DJ There in Person?

I completely understand that having a live DJ isn't within every wedding budget, but that doesn't necessarily mean your only alternative is putting Spotify on shuffle.

I also offer professionally prepared wedding mixes, giving couples the opportunity to have their evening arranged and mixed by a DJ without the cost of having me physically at the venue.

Simply tell me the music you love, the genres you want, your must plays and, just as importantly, anything you absolutely don't want to hear.

I'll use this to arrange the music so your evening has a natural flow, gradually building the energy and professionally transitioning between tracks rather than jumping randomly between completely different styles.
