I cannot recommend Max highly enough. He was DJ at our wedding and was stunningly good. He curated the entire sound throughout the day, moving from ceremony to canapes, dining to speeches, evening guest arrival, and then really got the party started and going all night! Max's attention to detail at every stage was exceptional, the transitions were seamless and the music very much set the perfect ambience at each stage of the day. He also liaised with and managed the rock band we had for an hour of the evening organising equipment, sound, confetti canons, just everything so that I didn't have to worry about a thing. He didn't just make it a great wedding, he very much made it our wedding in our style that our guests are still talking about now - THANK YOU MAX -

Max DJ'd our wedding at Plas Dinam in Wales on the 14th June 2025, and he was absolutely amazing, both on the day and whilst planning. He turned up at 10am and stayed till after 12.30. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception where all on different spots on the venue, but Max made sure there were mics and the perfect playlist at each one - despite the weather being intermittent rain all day - I actually do not understand how he managed to pull this off!
The ceremony was beautiful, the cocktail hour perfectly chilled, and then the reception was the raucous party we had been hoping for, Max's tunes perfectly matched the energy and had people quite literally bouncing from the ceiling.
I would also like to mention how amazingly helpful Max was in the run up to the wedding. He had loads of great suggestions and so much experience. He really listened and understood what we were going for, and pre empted loads of things we hadn't thought of, and was just incredibly reassuring in the run up. Planning a wedding can get pretty stressful, and you often finish chats with suppliers with a longer to do list that you had before - but Max was just always offering solutions, I would always leave our calls feeling "well at least the music will be great" and it more than lived up to the expectations. -

“Max and Kevin hosted our festival wedding party. They reassured us throughout the whole process and produced a party that many many guests called the best wedding they’ve ever been to. They organised meetings prior with me, my partner and our best friends to create a bespoke experience. They adapted the day to suit the vibe of the guests and the perfect weather. The quiz was an absolute success that we will never forget!!!! Bringing laughter and silly nonsense for adults and the kids (who won’t stop watching the gong challenge video) The disco ceilidh was everything we wanted and really brought everyone together. We had a few mishaps and cancellations including the caterer 2 hrs before the event, and this didn’t ruin a perfect day Thanks Max and Kevin for the best day of our lives, ❤️❤️❤️ -

Wedding DJ at The Shack
Max was fab from start to finish! He was responsive and asked what vibes we wanted for the evening, he was prompt for the evening and set up and made the evening smooth and stress free and fun! Everyone was talking about how great the music was for the night and everyone had a fab time! Thank you max for creating a wedding evening to remember! -

We are so thrilled that our photographer (Luke Cummins) recommended Max to us for our wedding! We honestly couldn't recommend him enough - he was great from the first initial conversation through to the big day. He asked us to share a playlist of some of our favourite songs to get an idea of our music taste to really make our wedding evening feel like ours - and he nailed it! My husband and I have completely different music taste but Max managed to get the perfect blend.
The dance floor was never empty, and we were so sad when it was the final song as we could have danced for hours!

Max was brilliant from start to finish! He was immediately warm and friendly from our first phone conversation, and continued to be fab throughout. He really listened to our wants for our wedding music and ensured the dancefloor was filled all night. He made sure that that our key special songs were included and keep the energy going until the end of the night. Would thoroughly recommend booking him to anyone looking for a DJ - thank you Max! -

We already knew that Max was a fantastic DJ as we’d previously attended some of his gigs-and so Max was always going to be our first port of call when we needed a DJ for our wedding in May 2025. What we hadn’t realised was that Max would be able to offer way more than what you’d normally expect from a DJ and that he could so effortlessly take much of the stress of the wedding planning off our shoulders - right the way through from administrative/logistical arrangements in the weeks and months leading up to our wedding day, to making sure it all ran perfectly smoothly on the day/evening itself. We can’t speak highly enough of Max’s professionalism, responsiveness and attention to detail, with the sole objective of ensuring that our wedding day was exactly how we wanted it to be… which was just magical. He’s also a thoroughly decent and lovely chap. -

Where do I even begin?! Max Galactic was, hands down, one of the absolute highlights of our wedding. From start to finish, he was phenomenal. As a bride, the pressure to get everything right is real—but Max took a huge weight off my shoulders. He organised everything flawlessly: from the aisle music and pre-ceremony ambience while guests waited (including the delay when I was fashionably late!), to setting up outside when the sun came out—creating the perfect vibe while everyone enjoyed canapés and welcome drinks. Max made sure our first dance was magical, even trimming the track to just the right length so my partner and I, who are definitely not dancers, could still enjoy the moment without stress. And then? He kept the party alive all night. Every track was a hit, and our guests didn't want to leave the dance floor. If you're looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond, reads the room like a pro, and adds a special kind of magic to your day—Max Galactic is your guy!
