What can we say about Charlotte May? Words can’t express how amazing she is as a person, and with the most INCREDIBLE singing voice you can imagine.
When we first met Charlotte at a wedding fayre at the Mill in Elsted - we asked if she could do our aisle song (she said ‘absolutely!’). When she started singing, we were talking to a florist but we heard her from across the room - it was so beautiful that it made my cry (which my fiance loved…). So of course, we instantly had to see if she could do our date - then I think we signed to get the date locked in on the same day. Instant, no-brainer yes.
She sung Elvis - can’t help falling in love with you for my aisle song in the church. Time seemed to stand still. All the guests were crying at how beautiful it was, and my husband’s aunt said afterwards that ‘it felt like being in a hollywood film’.
Then we went over to Northbrook where we were holding the reception - Charlotte played such a wide range of songs. We briefed in advance on how we wanted the two sets to flow through the session - and she was so accommodating and thoughtful about it all - starting from soft and loving songs to acoustic renditions of more upbeat and fun ones, so that it would help guests transition from all the seriousness of the church into much more of a fun, playful, party kind of mood before we went through to the wedding breakfast.
Even though we were constantly being pulled out of the room for photos and videos, we heard some of the set and it was absolutely perfect. Just the right volume, absolutely beautiful singing, and a joy to be around - exceptional entertainment for all the guests to arrive to. We’ve had so many compliments on how amazing Charlotte was from the guests, that we almost feel a little guilty - they should be telling her!
We would 1000% recommend Charlotte to anyone looking for a singer, or even if they’re looking for general entertainment and not sure what they’re looking for. If we ever have any other events, we would definitely invite her back. There’s no one else we would go to - the whole day was perfect. Thank you!

From our first chat and then video call, Charlotte took the time to understand the kind of atmosphere we wanted. She was also more than happy to learn new songs for us.
