Saffron Strings is an entertainment ensemble that performs at wedding events and is based in Berkshire, in the South East of England. Award-winning musicians are on hand to provide ambient music as a duo or trio at your ceremony and cocktail reception. Their eclectic repertoire ranges from classical music and jazz tunes to television and movie soundtracks and unique arrangements of current chart material.
Services Offered
Saffron Strings will serenade your guests as they arrive, provide emotional instrumental music as you exchange vows, and entertain loved ones at your wedding breakfast. You can deal directly with the musicians to plan your big day. These professionals arrive at least 45 minutes before your ceremony, liaising with vendors and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Whether you desire a duo or trio, they tailor their setup and song lists to reflect your wishes.

We are very flexible about booking times. Some couples book us just for the ceremony others for the drinks reception - a typical three hour booking is usually enough to cover both

Fantastic!
Saffron Strings played at our wedding for the ceremony and drinks reception. The duo was fantastic, professional and had a great variety in their repertoire. The communication with Lorraine during booking and up the big day was seamless. We were away for a lot of the drinks reception, but we had so many comments from guests who loved the music.

Such talented ladies
Wow! such talented musicians! They heightened the classy feel of the wedding no end! They played classical, film theme tunes and our requested music for the aisle walk both ways and the signing of the register. I can't wait to hear them when we re-play our video. We asked them to play during our canape and drinks reception too. Everyone was 'lulling' along to their music, they brought a beautiful calm to hectic photo taking and family catching up. Beautiful humans, beautiful music. Thank you so much!

Truly Magical!
We cannot thank Saffron Strings enough for the amazing job they did playing for our ceremony and drinks reception. They brought so much to the day and truly made it special for us. From the start, Lorraine was quick to respond to any queries we had and was able to accommodate a song request for us, making the ceremony especially personal. We were blown away by their performance and we had so many comments from the guests on how beautifully they played! Thank you again for everything you did and apologies we were unable to thank you on the day as we were too busy!

Wedding Reception
We had Saffron Strings during our wedding breakfast and they were amazing. Our guests loved them too and one guest described them as ‘classy’. They were extremely professional, responded to emails promptly and took into consideration requests from their repertoire list. I am so glad we booked Saffron Strings.

Our wedding in the Cotswolds
Saffron strings were incredible on our special day. Lorraine listened to what we wanted and the quartet went over and beyond in meeting our expectations.
