He personally engages with his clients and he worked with us before the wedding to ensure he knew what our expectations were. He even learnt some Mauritian music for us and gave us a Dhamakedaar (amazing) Dhol performance. I would totally recommend him and book him again!

We hired Aamir for our wedding which was a combination of Welsh and Indian. The day was a huge success and everyone enjoyed, one of the core reasons for this was Aamir! He was flexible and helped have a day we’ll never forget, I honestly don’t think the day would’ve been as good without him.

We hired Aamir to DJ in the evening for our wedding in Newark. He was very professional and offered all kinds of options that other DJs did not, like playing the dhol along with the songs and offering a good mix of Western and Bollywood dance music. We loved his energy! He really got the crowd going before the music even started by leading everyone (starting to feel sleepy from too much dinner) over to the dance floor with the dhol upon our request. We could also send some songs to him in advance to give an idea of our taste, but we could leave finding the right songs to him! Highly recommended.

Aamir (Beatsandsmiles) DJ’d our UK wedding reception in July-25. I might be biased but I can safely say it was the best wedding reception I’ve ever been to and definitely the best night of my life.

The dance floor was never empty as Aamir chose the perfect songs and created a feel-good party atmosphere. All guests since have commented what a great night it was, the spirits in the room were so high throughout. Aamir really helped create such a special occasion for us.

Honestly, I cant even explain how good Aamir was! From day one of booking to even after the wedding! the communication with him was super easy and his so friendly and such a nice guy! Then his DJ-ing skills, even better. Our experience with Aamir was fantastic. From the initial call he put us right at ease and was able to help us with music ideas and suggestions.

He was able to tailor the evening playlist to our particular taste and took suggestions to weave into his set, even down to working in specific songs for specific people in the wedding party when he saw them on the dance floor.

Prices were competitive too, and we ended up liking him so much that we booked him for the full day to handle our ceremony music, speeches and background music, rather than just for the evening as we originally planned.

We had even kind enough to take some candid videos of the dancing from the booth and sent them on to us afterwards off his own back.

Having Aamir as our DJ was the honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

We planned our wedding in just 11 weeks and had originally decided not to have a DJ due to budget constraints and not really having time to find one. Then my husband to be decided we definitely did need a DJ to ensure there was a good atmosphere during the evening reception but this left us with less than 5 weeks before the big day.

My mum saw a post from Aamir on a local facebook page and sent his website over to me so I could give him a call and he instantly put me at ease. Luckily, he had a last minute space available and he was so friendly and bubbly. He was very helpful regarding finding the type of music we wanted at the wedding and although my husband had lots of songs he wanted played throughout the night, Aamir still made sure to include the 3 songs I had requested for the day.

He really set the mood for the evening event and kept the energy high all night! He even let my husband have a go on the decks which was brilliant. He also took a few videos from behind the decks and sent them to us which was so lovely to have as we couldn’t find a videographer at short notice so those moments are very special to us.

We couldn’t recommend him enough and we will definitely be using him again at any events we hold in the future. He is truly a ray of sunshine and a fabulous human, whilst also being the most amazing DJ anyone could ask for. We’ve bumped into him a few times since the wedding and we always end up chatting for ages!
