Being dog owners ourselves, we understand why you want to share those lifetime moments such as your honeymoon or mini-moon with your "fur-kids", and this is the reason why we built our 3 luxury oh so romantic uber dog-friendly cottages, which are set within the privacy of our country estate, on the Quantock Hills, Nr Taunton Somerset.
FOR OUR DOG GUESTS:
Each romantic, tranquil & secluded cottage has enclosed gardens for your doggos. We have 3 enclosed exercise fields for them to scamper around in and the cottage gardens back onto the 9,000 acres Quantok AONB moorland - perfect for walkies, and with the coast just 1.5 miles and a fab dog-friendly pub at the bottom of the lane; your woofers will love it.
SPOILING & PAMPERING YOU
When honeymooning with us, you can enjoy all of the luxuries you would expect from a 5* boutique hotel but have the independence, space and style that a country house affords you. Relax in your private covered hot tub, chill at your outside bar while admiring the fantastic coastal and country views or hunker down in your gorgeous cottage in front of your wood-burning fire. Want a private chef come cook for you? No worries. How about having in-cottage massages, or having delicious home-cooked food delivered to your door ready for you just to pop in the oven, or maybe a day at one of the local spas call - the only hard decisions you have to make is what pampering you would like and when...

Most relaxing week of my entire life and the most dog friendly mini moon!
Emma and Simon literally thought of everything when they started this business- our dogs were so relaxed it was impossible for us not to be. The house had everything- from allowing us to take our own throws and bedding so the boys could really feel at home on their lovely furniture 😂to personalised gifts and treats for our boys. For their hoomans, the house has everything you need- the kitchen is unreal, we even had spices, cooking oil and many many condiments, crockery, cutlery, and gadgets, and things if we wanted to bbq- which we did- twice, because again, it was so homely that we didn’t need to go out all the time. The hot tub and decoration, quirky photos, memorabilia and notes, giving little pieces of insight into the fabulous family that own Quantock, were just so special too.
Aside from all that, the sheer beauty of the area is unreal- 10 steps behind you are 9000 acres of hills and fantastics views, and they cater for literally any dog- old, young, reactive, escape artists- and they clearly love them all! The garden has the most amazing birds, that visit every day- all the little things you may not notice when you’re at home, and life is busy
Equally there are so many nice pubs with excellent food within driving distance, or a couple within walking distance as well, and Blue Anchor Beach is sandy and only about 10-15 mins drive. The boys had a great time!
I don’t think we have ever been so relaxed in my life, so whilst it was a bit more than we usually pay to go to Devon or Cornwall with the dogs, it was well worth every penny because it wasn’t just a ‘base’ for the week, it was home for a week- and it felt like it! We didn’t want to leave 😂 will definitely go back again. Cannot recommend them enough ❤️
