Violet Petal Florals is based in Exeter, Devon, previously known as Lottie's Flower Studio, offering wedding floristry services. Lottie created this studio so that she could share the joy that flowers bring her with others. She especially loves to design florals for weddings, taking your vision and realising it in flower form.
Experience
Lottie's father used to tend to the flowers, landscape, and ponds at a vast country estate garden. As a child, she loved the brightness and calm as she adventured there as he worked. After a two-decade career in the veterinary industry and having two children, Lottie has refocused on an activity that is healing for her, mentally and physically - flowers.

From start to finish Lottie was friendly, creative, attentive and delivered exactly what I had in my mind. In fact… it was even better and brought the first tears of the wedding day. My bouquet was an absolute masterpiece and the bridesmaids bouquets complemented it so well. So many people commented on it. It was beyond perfect.
I would not hesitate to recommend Lottie! She was brilliant! I am so grateful and so pleased we went with her. There are not enough words! Thank you Lottie!

From start to finish, Lottie was amazing.
When we made our first enquiry, she took the time to speak with us and talk through our ideas and colour palette and also created a detailed presentation for us to give us an idea of how the flowers would look / what type of flowers she would use which was amazing. Lottie was so transparent with pricing too which massively helps when factoring in the wedding budget!
It is clear in speaking to Lottie that she has a genuine love and passion for what she does, but this is more evident in the beautiful arrangements she creates.
When she brought me my bouquet the morning of the wedding I cried with its beauty!

She went above and beyond by visiting our venue ahead of time to plan the perfect floral pergola and I genuinely cannot describe how stunning it turned out. Every arrangement from the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to the table florals was fresh, elegant and more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. She also provided the bud vases for the tables, which added the perfect finishing touch.
Lottie personally delivered my bridal bouquet on the morning of the wedding and it was such a special moment. You can truly see how passionate she is about her work.
We cannot thank Lottie enough for making everything feel so seamless and for creating flowers that were beyond anything we dreamed of. We would highly recommend her to any bride and groom.

She took the time to have two calls with me before the wedding to make sure we had gone through everything properly, and I always felt completely informed and reassured. She talked me through every detail, answered all my questions, and made the whole process feel so easy and stress-free.
One thing I particularly appreciated was how conscious she was of my budget. She was so thoughtful in helping me achieve the look I wanted while being mindful of costs, which meant so much to me.
The flowers on the day were beyond anything I could have imagined and were absolutely perfect. Not only is Lottie incredibly talented, but she’s also such a kind, friendly and lovely person to work with. She genuinely cares about making your vision come to life and making the whole experience enjoyable.
