Fashioned Flowers is the creative studio of Alex Huxtable, a London-based florist with a passion for creating flowers that feel personal, expressive, and rooted in the beauty of the seasons. Working across East London and the South East of England, Alex designs bespoke floral arrangements for weddings, events, and workshops — always with an emphasis on natural form, modern design, and meaningful detail.

After a career in the creative industry, Alex retrained in floristry at the prestigious Capel Manor College in Enfield, one of the UK’s leading horticultural colleges known for its long-standing involvement with the Royal Chelsea Flower Show. There, she gained a deep appreciation for the craft of floral design — learning to combine technical skill with creative intuition. During this time, she also trained at two of London’s most respected studios, Grace & Thorn in Hackney and Borrowed The Light in Walthamstow, both of which shaped her relaxed, naturalistic approach.

Alex’s work blends structure and spontaneity, embracing the imperfect beauty of nature. She’s drawn to soft, seasonal textures — the way a branch bends, how petals catch the light, or how colour can subtly shift with the time of year. Her designs are guided by these small, sensory moments, resulting in florals that feel both modern and timeless.

From weddings and private celebrations to corporate installations and creative workshops, Alex brings the same level of care, calm, and artistry to every project. She believes flowers should feel like an extension of the people and stories behind them — not just decoration, but an atmosphere in themselves.

When she’s not working on events, you’ll often find Alex running her popular floral workshops, teaching everything from Christmas wreath making to flower crown sessions for hen parties and creative groups. These gatherings are designed to be joyful, hands-on and welcoming — a chance to slow down, connect, and discover the pleasure of working with flowers.
