The only children’s hospice in the East Midlands for short, precious lives.

When a child isn’t going to live a long life, every single day matters. Rainbows is the children’s hospice for the East Midlands, and we’re here to help families make the most of the time they have, with expert palliative and end-of-life care, and the freedom to choose how and where that care happens. At home, in hospital or at our hospice, we’re here whenever we’re needed, for families across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire.

As part of our fundraising efforts, we created our wedding favours to help raise vital funds for our babies, children and young people. Your big day can help us to make that difference to those families that use our services.

Asha’s Story ♥️ (Gold Wedding Favour Package)

Our wedding day was a celebration of love, family and togetherness, and it was really important to us that Aarav was part of it 🤍🌈

Aarav was our beautiful nephew and is a very special part of our family. He taught us so much about courage, kindness and finding joy in the little things. We wanted to carry his memory with us and include him in our special day ❤️That’s why we chose Rainbows Hospice for our wedding favours. The love, care and support they gave Aarav and our family is something we’ll always be grateful for. 🌈

Instead of traditional wedding favours, we made a donation to Rainbows and created personalised cards for our guests, our small way of saying thank you, while hopefully helping another family receive the same kindness and support.

The team (Jemma)! were amazing in helping us bring our ideas to life, and it was so special seeing our family and friends wearing their Rainbow pins as we celebrated together 🌈

We hope that sharing a little of Aarav’s story can continue to help raise awareness of SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy).
