Who are Rainbows Hospice 🌈

We are a children's hospice based in Loughborough, we provide compassionate, expert palliative and end-of-life care to babies, children, and young people across the East Midlands. The unique needs of each baby, child and family are the centre of everything we do, and our mission is to support them in their most comfortable and preferred setting. Working collaboratively with other professionals and volunteers, we provide care and support and create opportunities and meaningful memories through illness, death and bereavement.

Why choose our wedding favours? 💐

As part of our fundraising efforts, we created our wedding favours which are the perfect way to say thank you to your guests in a meaningful way, whilst giving them the opportunity to win £1,000 in our weekly lottery draw. Your big day can help us to make a huge difference to local babies, children and young people that use our services.

So, you’ve chosen your venue, menu and table decorations, why not make your day even more special by giving each of your guests a special Rainbows Wedding Favour?

What do our wedding favours include? 💞

The favours can include a unique lottery number inside and sit perfectly on dinner place settings, providing a fun surprise for guests taking their places at your wedding meal. And by gifting your family and friends one of our wedding favours, you’re helping to brighten short lives.

Each favour including the lottery ticket is just £2.50 per person, the same price as our regular weekly lottery tickets, plus a small admin fee.

None lottery favours are also available at just £1.50 per person.

For children we have the option of having just the pin badges on their own for £1.50.

Pooja’s Story ♥️

“In lieu of traditional wedding favours, we chose to make a donation to Rainbows Children’s Hospice in loving memory of our nephew, Aarav. Aarav touched our hearts deeply with his bravery as he lived with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).

As a family, we have supported Rainbows through charity runs, social media initiatives, and corporate donations, and remain profoundly grateful for the care and compassion they provided our beautiful Aarav and his parents.

When deciding how best to mark our wedding day, we felt there could be no greater sentiment than to include Rainbows. The process was seamless, and Jemma (Acquisition Executive) and Sam (Digital & Graphic Designer) guided us with kindness and patience as we refined our card design particularly during the hectic moments of wedding planning. It was so special seeing all our loved ones with their Rainbow pins as we looked around the room at our Reception.

Through these favours, we hoped to honour our Aarav’s legacy while raising awareness of SMA, a rare genetic condition that deserves greater understanding and support.
