Silver Snail Jewellery is owned by silver clay artist and teacher Vicky. Starting from a mindfulness hobby, Vicky has grown this into a successful, sustainable jewellery and workshop business and now has a diploma in silver metal clay.

At Silver Snail Jewellery, Vicky creates handcrafted fine silver wedding jewellery that celebrates the quiet beauty of nature and the meaning behind each couple’s story. You can explore bespoke designs that capture personal stories and themes of your wedding, as well as create meaningful gifts such as small handcrafted tokens for the wedding party.
Silver Clay
Silver Clay is an eco-friendly material created from recycled silver, an organic binder and water. Once the jewellery piece is shaped and dried, it is torch or kiln-fired to burn off impurities, and your solid silver jewellery piece is ready for polishing. The benefit of working with such a versatile substance is that it captures fine details such as those in leaves and shells, resulting in intricately crafted details that make each piece unique and personal to you. Any piece over 7.7grams will be hallmarked.
Hen/Stag party workshops
Vicky offers relaxed jewellery workshops for hen and stag celebrations, where groups can enjoy a creative, welcoming experience and make their own silver keepsakes. Vicky can travel to a venue of your choice in Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire or work with you to find a suitable venue in the area. All materials and tools are provided, and the workshops are suitable for beginners and those who have never even heard of silver clay! Vicky will guide you through designing and creating your jewellery from silver clay, demonstrate how to fire it and help you to polish it into your final piece. You leave with your handmade solid silver jewellery in an organza bag and with free polishing cloth, a charm bracelet for the special individual created by the group and fun memories.

Hi, I’m Vicky, the maker behind Silver Snail Jewellery.
I work with fine silver clay to create handcrafted jewellery, and I also run relaxed, hands-on workshops for hen parties and special occasions. What started as a quiet, mindful hobby has grown into a small, sustainable business built around making things slowly and with care.
I love the process of working with silver clay, shaping, refining, and transforming it into solid silver. Much of my inspiration comes from natural textures, especially shells and organic forms, which give each piece a soft, understated character.
My workshops are designed to feel welcoming and unpressured, even if you’ve never made anything before. I’ll guide you step by step, from your first design through to your finished piece, so you can enjoy the process and leave with something you’ve made yourself.
For hen parties, it’s about creating a calm, creative space where you can spend time together, try something new, and take home a meaningful keepsake to remember the day. I also create handcrafted wedding favours and gifts, made in fine silver, that can be personalised to reflect your day in a simple and thoughtful way.
