Sophie Sketches Live is a live event illustrator based in Greater Manchester, available for weddings and events nationwide. Artist Sophie Cooke sketches guest portraits using vibrant watercolours, water pens, and glitter pens.

Services Offered

Live art adds a unique interactive element to a couple’s big day as captivated guests and loved ones watch the drawings come to life before their eyes. The process sparks conversation among invitees, boosting the social aspect of the celebration and promoting engaging communication. The finished artistic images make one-of-a-kind mementos of the occasion. Sophie, a creative arts graduate, creates personalised and artistic keepsakes, drawing on her studies of fine art and textile design to produce colourful sketches.

Sophie Sketches Live proposes various packages ranging from three hours of drawing and approximately 20-25 guests sketched to eight hours and between 55 and 60 guests drawn. The artist awaits contact from couples to decide on a suitable artistic package for their wedding day.

I take bookings up to 18 months in advance

Are you able to travel?

Yes, yorkshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester & Cumbria, but I am willing to travel so please get in touch!

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, i include 20 miles travel in my prices, beyond this I charge 50p/mile. Bookings over 2.5 hours drive may require an overnight stay

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, a table and chair, access to a power outlet if I am inside

How long is the act?

Packes range between 3 and 8 hours

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

15-30 minutes
