Hi, I'm Zoe - The Yorkshire Illustrator!
I am a qualified Graphic Designer and Art Educator who has made the leap in to Live Event Illustration, which is something that allows me to combine the two things that I love; drawing and people!
When I got married, we opted for a small, intimate wedding, and thought carefully about how to make the day fun for our guests, we wanted them to feel important.
We also wanted guests from both families to make connections and feel relaxed in each others company and I think live illustration is a great way to achieve this. I love the idea of families and friends coming together, and giving them an experience and keepsake that makes them feel special. Because they are special to you.
If you book me for a longer day package you may also get to meet my husband, who assists by taking photographs, chatting to the guests and keeping me on track! He has been my biggest supporter, moving in to this crazy wedding industry! (He loves it too!)
I am a mum to a 5 year old and love trying anything creative. This year I have been exploring window painting! I also love decorating and a Netflix binge!
I feel so lucky to be able to be part of such special occasions and events and can't wait to hear alll about your wedding planning!

My role involves preparing materials, taking photos, chatting to guests, and supplying snacks to keep Zoe's energy up. Occasionally I'm even allowed to add soome colour to the illustrations!
I love having the opportunity to be part of the couple's wedding day and helping (in a small way) to provide some great memories for their guests, and being able to do so with my own wife just makes it all the more special. :-)
