Belka Destination Weddings is a boutique wedding planning studio based in Valencia, Spain, planning destination weddings, elopements and private celebrations for couples from the UK and Ireland, and a growing number from the US. The studio works along two stretches of the Spanish coast: Valencia & Surroundings, and the Costa Blanca North towns of Jávea, Dénia, Moraira, Altea and Calpe.

Belka is perhaps best known for its tables. The studio's tablescaping and event styling work is followed by more than 6,500 people on Instagram, and that eye for detail shapes every wedding it plans, from the first venue shortlist to the last candle on the night.

What it's like to work with Belka

One planner, start to finish. Founder and lead planner Anna Belichenko is each couple's only point of contact, from the first message to the last dance.

Planned from wherever you are. Most of the planning happens over video calls and email, so couples living in the UK or Ireland usually only need to visit Spain once or twice before the wedding.

A shortlist, not a catalogue. Belka keeps its own database of venues, each researched individually for capacity, ceremony options, logistics and the kind of wedding it suits best. Couples receive a short, considered selection that fits their date, guest numbers and style.

Honest scoping. When a venue already provides its own in-house coordinator, Belka adjusts its role so couples never pay twice for the same job.

Where Belka plans weddings

Valencia & Surroundings: the city itself, the Albufera lagoon, countryside estates and fincas, sandy beaches and seafront terraces.

Costa Blanca North: clifftop villas, hidden coves and Mediterranean views in Jávea, Dénia, Moraira, Altea and Calpe.

Both areas are reached through Alicante and Valencia airports, which have regular flights from across the UK and Ireland.

Ceremonies

Many couples from the UK and Ireland complete the legal formalities at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Spain, which leaves them completely free to choose where and how the ceremony takes place. Belka plans symbolic, civil and outdoor ceremonies, and guides couples through what each option involves early in the planning.
