Hooe’s Yurts are one of the UK’s leading yurt hire companies. As well as a range of beautiful yurts they can also hire out an extensive range of furnishings for dining, dancing, relaxing and sleeping. Stunning hand crafted banqueting tables, beautiful kilim cushions and luxury bedroom interiors to name a few. All items are individually priced so you can hire exactly what you need to create a perfectly decorated wedding.
The striking wooden banqueting tables are hand crafted in Devon. They are beautifully finished, very sturdy and have wide solid benches. They are a pleasure to sit at. The tables come in two sizes 12ft x 3ft (to seat 12) and 8ft x 3ft (to seat 10). These tables make a welcome change to the normal “event” table and chair.
The kilim cushions are 45x45cm and 60x60cm and are made in Jaipur, India where Amy and Max from Hooe’s Yurts personally hand pick every design. There are a huge range of prints which come in sets of a similar colour. The cushions are both beautiful and practical as they are very hard wearing. Each cushion is stuffed with a duck feather pad to ensure the cushions don’t go flat over time.
Hooe’s Yurts stock a huge range of exquisite bedroom interiors. These include proper beds, mattresses, high quality white linen, bedside tables, lamps, luggage racks, mirrors and all the little extras you might need to create a very special bedroom in a yurt or anywhere!
There are also a number of other items such as round wooden dance floors, wooden 8ft bars and fire woks all with the signature Hooe’s Yurts natural style. For more details visit: https://www.hooesyurts.co.uk/furnishings
Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I pick the right sized yurt for my event?
Visit our Hire Range page and choose a yurt size. You will then be able to see how many people you can sleep, sit or stand in the yurt. There are also capacity plan and images on these pages. The Weddings and Event Yurts pages have some great plans that show capacities for linked yurts. If you’re unsure which yurtswould be suitable for your event, simply get in touch and we’ll happily make some recommendations.
Is my site suitable for a yurt?
Yurts ideally need to be erected on flat grass (for other surfaces pleasecontact us). We must be able to access the site in our vehicle and park next to or very near the yurt site on hard standing or firm grass. If we are required to drive onto grass that may be waterlogged there must be a tractor or similar on hand to pull us out of the mud! For smaller jobs we will come in a 3.5ton van and for larger jobs a lorry (7.5/18/26ton).
How much does everything cost?
You can see the prices of all our yurts and extras by visiting our Price List page. We are happy to send a bespoke itemized quote via email. Just use our Enquiry Form or send us an email.
Can you deliver anywhere in the UK?
We are based in Devon but are happy to travel. Send us your event date, site location and an idea of what you would like to order and we will quote for the delivery.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery prices are based on distance from our base in Devon and the amount of equipment ordered. Email or call us for a quote.
How do I secure my booking?
We ask for a 50% booking deposit and a 25% refundable damage deposit to be paid to secure the booking. We ask the final 50% payment to be made 48hrs before delivery.
Can I see a yurt in person?
We have some amazing images on our website which we hope will give you a good feel of the yurts. It may be possible to view a yurt that is up for an event so please contact us and we’ll see what we can do.
How can I heat a yurt?
We can supply wood burners and electric convector heaters to heat the yurts. At very cold times of year it may be sensible to supplement the wood burners in the larger yurts with a space heater hired from a local company.
Can I hire a yurt in the winter
Yes, yurts are great during the colder months as they can be heated with wood burners and are sealed units. To keep you and the yurts safe we do have a winter hire policy regarding snow/high winds – please ask and we can send you this document. The only yurt which we will not erect in winter is our 44ft yurt.
