Based in North London, Brayden is a celebrant and wedding MC working across Greater London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, East Sussex, Berkshire and beyond—including destination weddings abroad.
Before bringing Wed by Wedd to couples across the UK, Brayden wrote and delivered weddings in Australia. His approach is relaxed, personal and centred on one idea: your ceremony should sound like you.

Through a questionnaire and an in-depth planning conversation, Brayden gets to know your story, your personalities and how the two of you actually speak. He then turns it all into a ceremony that feels personal without becoming over-sentimental, funny without turning into a stand-up routine, and meaningful without feeling stiff or solemn.

Brayden also works with couples planning destination weddings who want a personal, English-language ceremony and a celebrant they can get to know before they travel. With the ceremony planned together in advance, you’ll have a familiar face waiting at the front, wherever you choose to celebrate.
He can join you for the ceremony or stay on as your wedding MC. Share your destination, date and plans when you enquire, and he’ll talk through the options and travel arrangements.
From the ceremony to the celebrations
Brayden can also act as your wedding MC, giving the day structure without taking it over. He keeps guests informed, introduces the key moments and helps everything move naturally, with the same relaxed approach he brings to the ceremony.

Every phone call we had with Brayden was easy and he answered all of our questions no matter how big or small!
The questionnaires that were shared with us and our loved ones ahead of Brayden drafting the ceremony, helped to dive deeper into us as individuals and as a couple. This allowed our ceremony to be uniquely ours and we couldn’t have wished for more! Brayden even helped with last minute changes just days before the wedding and it was never an issue for him!
As you can see from the photos…Brayden’s sense of humour that matched ours so perfectly was wound seamlessly into the ceremony, which created the most infectious and fun atmosphere!
Brayden was always responsive on WhatsApp…even taking time out of his holiday to jump on calls with us!

Brayden put in so much effort gathering information from our friends, family and our children, to construct a beautiful person centred ceremony for us, we wanted a ceremony that was authentic to our relationship, and Brayden delivered that in a way that was nothing short of perfection!! He is such an easy guy to talk to, he put us at complete ease, he delivered the ceremony with confidence and can really work a room well!

During the wedding I think it's fair to say my wife and I needed a bit of guidance and subtle hints to be in the right positions and Brayden picked up on that and subtly nudged us in the right place when we needed it.
The flow and timings of everything on the day were perfect and the adaptation to slight delays with photography and other bits was handled well.
Overall he made us feel like we can actually sit back and enjoy the wedding which I think is incredibly valuable, I highly recommend Brayden!

Brayden made our day
From the pre-wedding questionnaires to practice runs and check-ins, he was always available and aimed to make the ceremony speech as personal as possible. He was professional the whole way through but also calm and fun, which made us feel so comfortable.
Throughout the evening as our emcee, he had us all in stitches whilst wrangling other speakers and keeping everything running behind the scenes.
We had the best day and Brayden played such a big role in making that happen!

I’m Brayden Wedd - yes, that really is my surname. I started out marrying couples in Australia and now call North London home.
I’m easygoing, observant and lightly irreverent. I love hearing how people actually got together. The questionable first impressions, the small gestures, and the details one of you remembers rather differently from the other.
I take the responsibility of being your celebrant seriously, but I’m very happy not to be the most serious person in the room. I want you to feel comfortable having a laugh, telling me what you think and being yourselves around me.
By the time your wedding comes around, I want to feel like a familiar face. Guests often assume I’m an old friend. That is sort of the point.
