Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at our Celebrants page for South Downs Celebrants. We are Amanda & Corrine, two professionally trained Civil Celebrants, based at Field Place Manor House & Barns, in Worthing. West Sussex.

We love looking after our coules, getting to know all about them, and bringing thier stories to life throughout your wedding ceremony. Bringing a wealth of people skills to the role both Amanda and Corrine specialise in excellent customer service. Amanda is the Wedding & Events Manager at Field Place Manor House & Barns, and Corrine is the HR Executive for South Downs Leisure.

We would love to get to know you, hear all about you as a couple, help you build and compose your love story to ensure that your wedding starts with amazing celebrations. A bespoke personalised service, written just for you. There are no boundaries or restrictions for a celebrant led service, it truly is all about you.

The benefits of choosing a Celebrant are many. A Celebrant brings individuality; we are lucky, we get to know our couples and invest time into writing a bespoke service just for them. We aren't rushing off to be somewhere else. Each ceremony is personal to the couple, it’s not an 'insert name here' template of a ceremony. We get to know you, understand your vision and values, and we want to give you a unique, personal experience. During your service you will sign a commemorative certificate that you can be photographed with as you complete it, so your service flows.

Most couples consider the day they host their celebrant ceremony and reception to be their "official" wedding day, not the day of the formal registration, which is a legality. If you were to compare the birth of a baby and going to the registry office, you would then register the birth of the baby’s name. You wouldn’t however take with you your family and friends; you would hold a baby naming ceremony or a christening on a separate date in a location of your choosing.

It is the same with a wedding, why not register your marriage and then celebrate your wedding day how and when you would like it to be, with complete freedom of choice.

Registrars do an amazing job with all the legality, but we do the story telling, we bring laughter and joy, making your ceremony all about you.
