Hello, and welcome! I’m Amanda, and if you’re looking for a celebrant who is warm, fun, calm when you need calm, and very happy to laugh with you when the moment calls for it… you’ve just found her.
Your ceremony should feel like you. Yes, we can absolutely include beautiful vows, promises and rings, but we can also go way beyond that if you’d like. Handfasting with ribbons chosen for their meaning, surprise (or planned-surprise!) ring bearers, tequila or limoncello toasts, planting a rose, pebble rituals to “set your love in stone”, sing-along moments to the song that defines you, or little touches that involve your children, your family, or even your pets. There are so many gorgeous, meaningful, and sometimes delightfully unexpected ways to tell your story, and I love helping you find the ones that fit you perfectly.
A bit about me
I bring over 30 years of experience in the wedding and events world, and I’m a nationally recognised celebrant. In 2025 I was honoured to win National Family & Couples Celebrant, after being National Runner-Up the year before, but what really matters to me is how my couples feel on the day: relaxed, confident, and totally themselves.
I work across West Sussex and Hampshire, and I only ever take on one ceremony a day. That means when it’s your wedding, you have my full attention, my full energy, and my full heart in your ceremony.
What it’s like to work with me
I’ll get to know you properly — how you met, what you love about each other, what makes you laugh, what matters most to you, and what you want your guests to feel during your ceremony. Then I write your ceremony from scratch, just for you. No templates. No “insert names here”. Just your story, told with warmth, humour, sincerity, and a few lovely surprises along the way.
Couples often tell me that guests assume I must be a family friend, because the ceremony feels so personal and connected. That’s always the biggest compliment.
Why choose a celebrant?
A celebrant gives you freedom. Freedom of words, music, rituals, tone, location, and timing. You can keep the legal part simple and separate, then have the wedding day you actually want, surrounded by everyone you love, in a place that feels right, with a ceremony that reflects who you truly are as a couple.
Registrars do an amazing job with the legalities. What I do is the storytelling, the emotion, the laughter, the moments people talk about for years afterwards.
You’ll also sign a commemorative certificate during your ceremony, so everything flows beautifully and you still get that special “signing” moment for photos.

Amanda was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding!
From our very first conversation, she was so easy to talk to and immediately put us at ease. As we’d never planned a wedding before, we had absolutely no idea what we were doing or what to expect, but Amanda guided us through every step with reassurance, advice, and endless patience. No question ever felt silly, and she always made us feel completely supported. She made what could have been a really overwhelming process feel exciting and enjoyable.
The ceremony she created was everything we could have hoped for and more. She completely captured our journey as a couple and told our story so beautifully. Every version of our script felt perfect, and as we remembered little stories or wanted to add something new throughout the planning process, Amanda somehow made each draft even better. It genuinely felt like we were building the best version of our story together and we will always treasure the words she wrote for us.
Amanda is the perfect balance of professionalism and friendship. She gave us some brilliant ideas to make our ceremony even more personal, including handfasting and our ring warming ceremony, and every detail was thoughtfully considered, right down to our personalised ring bag. She made everything feel so easy for us, even though we know there was so much work happening behind the scenes! Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
On the day itself, Amanda was incredible. Her storytelling was heartfelt, her comedic timing was spot on, and she had every single guest engaged from beginning to end. She was a calm, reassuring presence throughout the day and a guiding hand whenever we needed one. So many of our guests commented afterwards on how amazing the ceremony was and how perfectly she told our story.
More than anything though, Amanda is just a genuinely fantastic person. We honestly feel like we have made a friend, not just that we had found our celebrant for our wedding day. We genuinely don’t want to lose touch with her, which probably says everything about the kind of person she is.

From the start to finish of the ceremony she worked with us and made us feel comfortable and we knew exactly what to do so she removed our nerves. Her warmth and love of her role showed throughout and we had the most beautiful day which was created from her conducting our ceremony. The amount of effort Amanda put in made our day the best day of our lives.
We cannot thank Amanda enough. From the popping in to check on the bride and bridesmaids in the morning she ensured everything was perfect and we couldn’t be more grateful for her if we tried.

Her organisation and attention to detail were incredible, ensuring everything ran smoothly and allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing. As our celebrant, Amanda delivered a beautiful, personal ceremony that perfectly reflected us as a couple and was commented on by so many of our guests afterwards.
It was the little touches that really made Amanda stand out. She even came up with the brilliant idea of giving our son Harley red and yellow cards to hold up if he spotted family or friends taking photos during the ceremony, which everyone loved and added such a fun and memorable touch to the day!
She also helped create such a fantastic atmosphere throughout the celebrations, including getting everyone singing along to Sweet Caroline, which became one of those unforgettable moments that had all our guests smiling and joining in.
Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her calm, friendly presence made such a difference throughout the entire process. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide us through our wedding day.
