After more than 30 years working in a profession where words truly matter, I now use those skills in a very different way—creating ceremonies that celebrate love, life, and the stories that make us who we are.
As an independent celebrant, I believe your ceremony should feel like you. Not a template. Not a script copied from somewhere else. A genuine reflection of your relationship, your personalities, your values, and the journey that brought you together.
Whether you're planning a traditional wedding, a relaxed outdoor celebration, a handfasting ceremony, a vow renewal, or something wonderfully alternative, I work closely with you to create a ceremony that is personal, meaningful, and memorable. Together we'll blend the elements that matter most to you—whether that's romance, laughter, family traditions, symbolic rituals, or a touch of magic.
My background as a barrister and senior manager taught me how to listen carefully, put people at ease, and speak confidently in front of any audience. More importantly, it taught me that every story deserves to be told well.
Alongside my celebrant work, I also offer tarot readings for wedding guests. For couples looking to add something a little different to their day, a tarot corner can provide a unique and memorable experience during drinks receptions or evening celebrations. Whether guests are seasoned tarot enthusiasts or simply curious, the readings are always light-hearted, insightful, and a wonderful talking point that brings people together.
Couples often tell me they feel as though they've known me for years. My aim is simple: to create a ceremony that feels effortless, authentic, and completely centred on you. The kind of ceremony that has your guests laughing one moment, wiping away happy tears the next, and talking about it long after the confetti has settled.
If you're looking for a celebrant who will take the time to get to know you, understand your vision, and create a ceremony filled with warmth, personality, and heart, I'd be delighted to help tell your story.

I have spent most of my career in a serious job as a prosecutor for the CPS.
Not to say there werent a few laughs but i am looking for some joy and weddings are where that is at!
I am a mum to an 11-year-old daughter, and married to Derek, a children's mental health nurse. We have a busy life with out two Labradors and up until christmas I was a Brownie leader. I am about to embark on becoming a scout instead!
I love camping, festivals and music events - especially a bit of rock or country! I also do a bit of sewing, spinning, and steampunk. I make chocolates and cheese for the family when i have time! Having friends around for dinner or wine - especially on those long summer evening evenings is maybe my greatest love. (Apart from Derek and being a celebrant!)
I fit in where i find myself- on a campsite, rock gig or county ball so youll find me adaptable and eclectic.
So if you are looking for somone different please get in tuch and let me hear about your great ideas and plans
