Well, hello! Pleased to meet you, I am NaomiJane, an independent celebrant based in the South West but happy to travel. I specialize in warm, friendly and inclusive weddings - where humour and celebration meet. Forest or field, house or home, cliff top or castle, hotel or stately home: wherever you want to get wed, we can do it. Just drop me a message and we can get going.
So, here’s a quick bio of me so far: having been an English teacher for many years ( you know THAT English teacher, the naughty one...) it was time to hang up my books, pick up my pen and start creating happy environments at weddings rather than in classrooms. I have been on Hitched since January this year and booked over 20 weddings so far!
Every couple is unique, and so every ceremony needs to reflect that. Words and stories, poems and readings, music and laughter all need to be woven together to create your ideal day and I am here to work with you to create your story, your vows, your unique wedding.
Unity ceremonies from handfasting to quaich cup, sand ceremony or pot-planting, choosing shots for the ceremony or creating secret vows...you name it, we can do it together. I also come with a beautiful willow wedding arch if you wish and a wealth of poetry at my disposal after teaching Literature for 20+ years.
This is how it works:
- you get in touch with me through Hitched
- we hook up - online or in person for free to make sure we are the right fit
- you book me with a £100 deposit
- 3 minths before the ceremony, we have some fun getting to know one another
- I create a draft order of service
- we meet again - this time to work out the nitty gritty
- I write the finalised ceremony
- I turn up nice and early to calm you down and organise things and then…you get married!
What are you waiting for! I have a great offer on until the end of this year as well – all of this for only £495 – what a bargain!
Looking forward to chatting to you both soon
Warm regards
NaomiJane xx

Now the rite is done,
Now the word is spoken,
And the spell has made us one
Which may ne’er be broken:
Rest we, dearest in our home,
Roam o’er the heather
We shall rest and we shall roam
Shall we not together?
