As my business name suggests, my overall style in life and business is Boho (or Bohemian, to use its proper name!)
By this, I mean free in spirit, open minded and forever trying to find the treasures that life places in front of us - always on the search for the joy, and anything comical that'll crack us all up!
I adore nature, music, audiobooks and podcasts, yoga, anything self-development, animals (all are welcome at my Ceremonies!) and good conversation that lifts the vibe in all situations.
I am an open book, an optimist, and I love to laugh! I like to introduce humour into my couple's Ceremonies (where appropriate) whilst capturing those little and large elements that make you guys you.
When it comes to your Wedding Ceremony script, my job is to intently listen to your story through our interactions with an open mind and heart to really get to know you as a couple, which is the best way (in my opinion) to make your Ceremony as personal to you as possible.
These conversations form the foundation of your Ceremony script, written in a style suited to you as a couple - be that silly, mushy, a bit more conservative - whatever you envisage. Be assured, though, that a script written with the amount of love I have bursting in my heart will be a ceremony for you and your loved ones to remember for a lifetime. I am passionate about choosing words that lift, enhance and showcase the beautiful step you are taking together.

We um & ah’d about having a celebrant at our wedding at first, as we were so worried that it would come across unauthentic as we wouldn’t know them all that well (our only rule for our DIY, outdoor wedding was that we knew everybody there - we are naturally quite a shy couple!).
There was no need to worry.
We met Jodie and it was like meeting an old friend of ours. We felt so at ease talking to her about our history and plans for the day - she just got it and understood us straight away.
Just before our wedding we got some of the worst news we could have received and dealt with a huge, sudden loss in our family. Their memory was going to be central in our celebration and we wanted to reshape our ceremony to reflect that. We told Jodie and she not only reworked the script to reflect our week and adapted focus of the day, but she was also the friend we needed on some of our hardest days.
After the ceremony some of our closest friends and family asked us how we knew Jodie and couldn’t believe that we had only met her recently. They all thought we were old friends - this warmed our hearts as this was how we felt about her too. That’s how amazing she is as a celebrant.
Thank you Jodie for being kind, lovely, beautiful you. You truly made our wedding day unforgettable and one of our most favourite days in the midst of some of our hardest, we’ll forever be grateful to you 💗

One of the easiest decisions we ever made!
I had my first zoom call with Jodie in early 2023..it didn't even take 30 seconds for me to absolutely know..WHOLE HEARTEDLY..that she was absolutely the only person I wanted to marry me and my now husband!
Almost instantly, Jodie - the boho celebrant became Jodie..our friend.
Our scripts were absolutely perfect, it was almost as if she was a fly on the wall during our entire relationship..she somehow, almost like magic - made our script more personable than even I could have written (impossible right!?)
Even weeks after our wedding, we are still having guests reach out to us and express how touching our ceremony was and how they laughed..cried...then laughed some more!

We also chose to include a handfasting tradition, and Jodie guided us through selecting cords that represented our core values as a couple. The way she braided them together to ‘tie the knot’ was both meaningful and beautiful.
Jodie’s dedication and passion shine through in everything she does. Our guests were completely captivated by her professionalism and the heartfelt way she conducted our ceremony.
