I absolutely love my job, it's not like a job at all and I've been fortunate enough to win a number of awards. I travel around the UK conducting all kinds of weddings in all kinds of venues! I believe your ceremony should reflect who you and your partner are as individuals and as a couple and by working closely with you, I'll create a ceremony full of emotion and fun. There'll be the odd tear, some laughter and lots of smiles. I love talking through ideas with my couples whether it's how to include family and guests in their ceremony, or what role their dogs, or other pets can take!
In my previous life (before dogs and children!), I worked in music and tv. I then started my own business as an Events Organiser and Wedding Planner. After some years, I decided I wanted to create a more intimate ceremony and have been a celebrant for nearly 8 years.
Services Offered
Once you've contacted me, we'll have a quick chat on zoom, or whatsapp, to introduce ourselves and talk through the whole process. We'll then meet in person and go into more detail about your ceremony, You may be thinking of something traditional or quirky, or you may want to include an element of religion, or your individual cultures - if this is relevant. We'll also talk in depth about Your Story, which features all sorts of details, including how you met, when you realised your partner was the one, and your journey to arriving at this wonderful point in your lives. We can include different types of rituals from unity candles and hand fasting to making a cocktail together! And not forgetting our pets! As I mentioned, some couples have wanted their dogs to be the ring bearers, or even walk them down the Aisle! I always remember, this is YOUR ceremony and together, we'll make it a truly personal and beautiful one.
My fee includes all meetings either in person or via zoom, all travel, a rehearsal and all research into Your Story
Following your ceremony, I'll send a hard copy of your complete script - a lovely reminder for you both

I cannot recommend Jenny enough as a celebrant. I was organising a wedding from Belfast in the Cotswolds and Jenny’s patience and guidance helped us design the ceremony of our dreams. We knew we wanted something more personal and Jenny was completely on board and with her expert knowledge and loads of texts and video calls it came to life! Everyone loved her infectious enthusiasm and her knowledge in planning ceremonies was invaluable. Thank you Jenny for making our wedding dream a reality xx

Jenny is brilliant. She was the best celebrant we could have asked for. She went above and beyond to find out all the bits and pieces about me and my partner, in order to create a ceremony that was truly magical. From start to finish she made us feel at ease, nothing was too much trouble and we laughed alot! She gave us the confidence to write our own vows and wowed all our guests with the personal ceremony on our wedding day. She is FANTASTIC!!!!!!

An Unforgettable Experience With Jenny
We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Jenny as our celebrant. From the very beginning, she made us feel so comfortable, both during the preparations and on the big day itself. Her wealth of experience really showed—she asked all the right questions to get to know us, which helped us feel at ease and connected with her.
The ceremony was beautiful, and we owe that to Jenny. She guided us every step of the way, making sure everything was under control, which took so much stress off our shoulders. Everyone who attended loved Jenny and the ceremony. We got so many compliments on how beautifully she told our story—it really felt like she understood who we are as a couple and reflected that perfectly in the ceremony.
On top of being a wonderful celebrant, Jenny is a truly lovely person, and we feel close to her after this whole process. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic from start to finish, Jenny is the best!
Jenny exceeded our expectations in every way possible.
Jenny started by speaking to us and our friends in detail, so that she could really get to know us and sincerely build ‘our story’ to be read at the ceremony. Jenny nailed it and captured a story of us which we will treasure forever.
We were in communication frequently which made us feel at ease with her experience and competence. It was a huge weight off of our shoulders knowing Jenny would be standing there with us.
Jenny has a fantastic personality, really made us laugh throughout the whole experience and meshed well with us and all of our guests at the ceremony.

Fun, bubbly and emotional - Jenny is fantastic!
We had Jenny at our wedding to create a more relaxed, fun, personal and enjoyable ceremony. She spoke to us regularly on email, and video calls, and spoke to our close friends to get to know me and my now husband well so she could create a personal and meaningful ceremony.
We had lots of quirky traditions we wanted to include and Jenny helped to incorporate them on our special day.
Lots of guests said Jenny was amazing, bubbly and very happy! And guests also said that our ceremony was the favourite part of the day as it was engaging, personal and meaningful.
We would recommend Jenny to anyone thinking about having a celebrant on their special day. She was always there to help and made our day truly rememberable.

Jenny was absolutely brilliant as our celebrant and we couldn't recommend her more highly! After the ceremony everyone commented on what a wonderful job she had done and how personal it was. A truly magical experience with Jenny
We first met Jenny as the celebrant at the wedding of two friends and after hearing her recount their story, we knew there couldn’t be anyone else to be the celebrant for our own wedding.
Jenny takes true and genuine care to find out everything about who you are, both as individuals and as a couple; speaking to you and those closest to you and finds meaning in your story that you didn’t even realise was there. Her account of your journey will honestly make you fall in love with your partner all over again.
What we love about her approach most is that she really takes the time to get to know you which in turn helps to tailor your service to suit you perfectly. We didn't realise just how much goes into a bespoke ceremony, but Jenny made it easy and was there with us every step of the way. It was extremely special having her lead our ceremony on the day we couldn't recommend her anymore.

Perfection from start to finish
Working with Jenny is the absolute dream. Her attention to detail is unmatched - she took the time to truly get to know my now husband and I, both through us and our friends, as well as dive into the ins and outs of our love story. Our ceremony was personalised and so ‘us’ thanks to Jenny. We unexpectedly moved abroad during the wedding planning stage and Jenny was there asking if we needed help with anything (in addition to her lovely ceremony prep). Truly went above and beyond. Jenny will definitely remain a friend to us for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much for everything, Jenny!

We love Jenny! Would recommend her in a heartbeat!
Jenny was our wedding celebrant and we could not have wished for anything more or anyone better! She was absolutely incredible. As a person, Jenny is so warm, kind, fun and made us feel at ease/comfortable right from the beginning. From the planning phase, she was there to guide us through what the ceremony would be like, she took the time to visit and speak to us to get to know us better, she helped answer questions on anything we were doubtful of, even if slightly unrelated. When speaking to our friends who all were in different time zones, she did not hesitate to take calls early morning. Our friends absolutely loved speaking with her and all said they had such a great time. Jenny took the time to have a rehearsal with us at our venue and even worked with a last minute change in location which we were truly grateful for. She led our ceremony incredibly well. All of our guests loved how natural and personal the ceremony was. She spoke so clearly, so emotionally yet keeping it lighthearted which is exactly what we wanted. We would recommend Jenny in a heartbeat and cannot thank her enough!

A pleasure to work with from day one!
Jenny was a super celebrant. She did a fantastic job and her passion for people shone through at every stage in the process. She did thorough research on us as a couple including interviews, not just with us but also friends and family, to ensure she wrote a Love Story that truly captured us. She put us at ease during the ceremony rehearsal as well as on the Big Day. Would highly recommend Jenny!

We knew we had made the right decision in choosing Jenny Marks as our wedding Celebrant from our very first interaction with her. Jenny was as excited as we were about our wedding and had the same level of passion and commitment to make it a meaningful, fully bespoke ceremony with any and all elements woven in to it to make sure it was the most special and memorable occasion for us as well as our guests.
As well as helping us craft the perfect wedding celebration, Jenny took time to speak to us individually and together, as well as our friends and family, so that she could really get to know us. Jenny then wrote a comprehensive and moving, 'ceremony speech' that perfectly balanced our narrative with emotion with humour, and she delivered it perfectly.
We were overwhelmed by feedback from our guests about how enjoying, meaningful and moving our Celebrant Ceremony was and how very impressed they were with Jenny.
We found Jenny to be warm, supportive, engaging, enthusiastic and the ultimate professional; she also freely shared her thoughts, ideas, and tips and contacts to help fuel our thinking, and shape the whole wedding day - which really helped as she has so much experience!
We could not recommend Jenny any more highly for such a special occasion. We’d like to say we would definitely use her again for our next wedding - but that’s clearly not going to happen now we’ve married our soul-mates!

Wedding Ceremony Celebrant
Jenny was the PERFECT celebrant for us. We live in the USA and had our wedding in the UK. She seamlessly used Zoom to get to know us and when we came over for a wedding planning trip she fit in the time to sit down with us in person as well. Jenny took the time to connect with people important to us, to get a deeper picture of who we are and what our relationship is like to others on the outside who know us well. Her approach to creating our ceremony was incredibly personal and full of warmth and personality. She created a beautiful ceremony that several guests commented was the best ceremony they'd ever attended. And she LOVES dogs!

Truly Amazing!
Jenny was our wedding celebrant and coordinator and excelled at both. The wedding service that she created for us was absolutely perfect - she worked closely with us to ensure that it suited who we are and she captured our story perfectly.
As an on-site coordinator for the wedding day, she helped with liaising with and booking suppliers for us. As we were planning the wedding from overseas, her input was invaluable. The staff she arranged for running the bar on the day were incredible and so hard-working.
Having Jenny and her team on site for our wedding day meant that we were able to fully relax knowing that everything was in hand for the day. Working with Jenny was an absolute pleasure from start to finish, mainly because she cared so much about our wedding and making sure it was perfect!
