I absolutely love creating the most unique and meaningful ceremonies I possibly can, for the wonderful couples I work with and thanks to some of these lovely couples, I've been fortunate enough to win a number of awards.
My belief is your ceremony should reflect who you both are as individuals and as a couple. To achieve this, we work closely together, to create a relaxed and personal ceremony full of emotion, including the odd tear, some laughter and lots of smiles. I enjoy talking through ideas with my couples whether it's how to include family and guests in their ceremony, or what role their pets, from dogs to horses and everything in between, can take!
In my previous life, (before dogs and children!), I worked in music and television for a number of years, before starting my own business as an Events Organiser and Wedding Planner. After some years, I decided I wanted to create a more intimate ceremony and have been a celebrant for over 10 years, working throughout the UK
Services Offered
Following your enquiry, we'll have a quick chat on zoom, or whatsapp, to introduce ourselves, talk through the style of your ceremony and some of your ideas. We'll then meet in person to go into more detail and begin planning. You may be thinking of something traditional or quirky, or want to include an element of religion, or your individual cultures - if this is relevant. We'll also talk in depth about Your Story, which features all sorts of details, including how you met, when you realised your partner was the one, and your journey to arriving at this wonderful point in your lives. We can include different types of rituals from unity candles and hand fasting to making a cocktail together! Lets not forget our pets. As I mentioned, some couples have wanted their dogs to be the ring bearers, or even walk them down the Aisle! I always remember, this is YOUR ceremony and together, we'll make it a truly personal and beautiful one.
My fee includes all meetings either in person or via zoom, being available at all times to answer any questions or concerns you may have, all travel, a rehearsal, full research into Your Story and performing your ceremony on the day. I have personal liability insurance and cover available should I be unable to perform your ceremony on the day.
Following your ceremony, I'll send a hard copy of your script - a lovely reminder for you both

We couldn't have asked for more!
The first thing I think is important is how clearly Jenny is a true believer in both love and people!
She was not only incredibly professional and prepared but also kind, warm and funny.
She had lots of examples of things like rituals and ring exchanges but was also completely open to our wants and suggestions on the ceremony. She was incredibly helpful in general with checking in on us and making sure we were on track for the wedding.
She told ‘our story’ for which she had spoken to both of us individually and our best man/man of honour which made it feel so lovely and personal. She was so incredibly easy to talk to and she ran everything she was planning past us in advance and created a really high level of comfort and trust. Because of this she managed to elicit things from us about each other that were so lovely to both hear and say that we might not have thought to otherwise!
She made us all laugh, she made a few of us cry and she told our story in such a beautifully personal way that really touched me. You can tell how much effort goes into what she does and how hard she worked to get to know us to be able to tell our story so well- We felt so close to Jenny by the end of it that it felt more like she was another friend or family member in the room.
I honestly couldn't imagine something more perfect for such a special day!
Anyone would be lucky to have her as their celebrant- Our family and friends loved her as much as we did and I only wish we needed a celebrant more than once so we could keep Jenny around!

She spent a lot of time getting to know us as a couple before writing the most gorgeous story for our ceremony. It was everything we wanted - a very personal touch along with some traditional bits. All our guests really enjoyed the uniqueness of the ceremony and how perfectly she suited it to us. Every aspect from planning to delivery of the ceremony was perfect xx

Jenny is an absolute joy!
From our very first communication through to after our celebrations, Jenny has been a star. She invested much time and effort in getting to know us as a couple, as well as our friends and family life, with the resulting "Our Story" perfectly capturing us as a couple, being both poignant and funny.
Jenny's delivery of the ceremony itself was brilliant - we (and our guests) laughed, we were moved and we paused to reflect on the happiness of the day and the excitement for the future.
I should also add that, when my mum misplaced her poem reading (by sitting on it!), Jenny was the ultimate professional, reacting promptly and calmly so the ceremony flow was uninterrupted.
In summary, choosing Jenny as our celebrant was the easiest and best wedding decision we made and we highly recommend you do too!
