About Jacqui

Jacqui Howard is a professionally trained independent celebrant who will create and deliver a bespoke, personalised ceremony that is just as unique as you are, whomever you are and whomever you love. Whether you're looking for formal or fun, traditional or quirky, secular or spiritual, or a complete combination, she will work with you to make your dream ceremony a reality. Fairytale or festival, a fusion of cultures, candlelit with choirs or Lord of the Rings style, peaceful and meditative or Eurovision themed - your ceremony will represent you and your relationship.

Jacqui is a former teacher and education leader, so her planning and organisation skills are second to none, and she is used to adapting to different needs. She also spent many years teaching musical theatre, so confidence, creativity and the ability to conjure up those special moments are all firmly in her bag. As a qualified coach and mentor, she is able to use her abilities in listening, supporting and unpicking thoughts to work with you to design a ceremony that perfectly matches your needs. She trained with and is a member of The Celebrant Circle, so you can be assured that your ceremony is in safe hands.

Services offered

After your initial no-obligation chat, Jacqui will work with you through 1-1 meetings, a personal Whatsapp group and bespoke couple questionnaires to get to know you and your love story. She will research, write and craft your full ceremony script with personalised wording for all elements of the ceremony.

Jacqui will support you with discovering and choosing music, readings, poems and any other elements you would like to include, for example unity rituals like hand-fasting, sand blending, tea or wine ceremonies and many more. She will support you in writing any vows you wish to make and can offer coaching for those who are worried about public speaking.

On the day, Jacqui will work with your photographer to ensure you get all the memories of your beautiful ceremony captured with no restrictions. Afterwards, Jacqui will provide a copy of your ceremony for you to keep and a certificate of commitment to mark your special day.

Jacqui is based in Southport, near Liverpool, but is happy to work throughout the North West of England and further afield. She promises her full commitment to your day, only conducting one ceremony a day to ensure you are her focus and that you can have a ceremony length that suits you.
