We’re so glad we chose Vegan Junkies to cater our wedding! We really wanted delicious vegan food for our big day, and Dave and Sophie went above and beyond. The food was incredible – even our non-vegan guests were raving about it! Everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented. They made the whole process completely stress-free, and their passion and professionalism really showed. Couldn’t have asked for better – thank you both for travelling all the way to Scotland and making our day so special!

Vegan Junkies were absolutely phenomenal and gave us our dream wedding catering! The food was incredible and so many guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. From the initial phone call Sophie & Dave were so lovely and responsive and helped us to design our perfect mediterranian inspired sharing feast.

One of our concerns with having a vegan wedding was that there was enough food as most of our guests are non-vegans who had some preconceptions about vegan food being light/unsubstantial - there was SO much food and it was so filling and satisfying and delicious.

The attention to detail and level of accomodation to a multitude of dietary requirements was outstanding and every guest felt so well taken care of. I noticed that Dave personally went to track down the guests requiring gluten free pizzas in the evening which was so considerate. The mac n cheese balls, eggplant parmigiana, pizzas, and trio of desserts we're absolute highlights (i'm still thinking about the lemon cheesecake), though everything was fantastic. The timing of service was also perfect, even when the speeches ran over and when we had to wrap up dessert quickly to go for more photos - it was all so seamless.

If you're even thinking of booking Vegan Junkies JUST DO IT! The food was one of best parts of our wedding. They are absolute pros and couldn't do enough for us to make sure we had the best day. Thank you for everything Sophie & Dave, we will be eternally grateful - Matt & Lizzi

Sophie and Dave at Vegan Junkies catered for our wedding and it was such a huge hit with all of our guests! They provided us with breakfast on the wedding day to take the stress away from us, as well as canapes and our wedding breakfast and then a vegan brunch the next day to help with the hangovers from the night before. Both of the breakfasts were ideal with a range of options and the canapes all went down really well. The actual wedding breakfast was great too with a Mediterranean sharing feast which tasted amazing while all running super smoothly and dealing with some very specific dietary requirements with ease. Sophie and Dave were so easy to work with throughout, and we loved the tasting session where they were kind enough to invite my parents along to get some extra opinions. We'd really recommend Vegan Junkies to anyone who's after a vegan wedding but doesn't want to upset all of their carnivorous friends and family!

Vegan Junkies catered for our wedding in early October and we honestly can’t recommend them enough. Sophie and Dave were so lovely and helpful right from the moment we first contacted them - they were always willing to be flexible and help us navigate all of our many queries along the way! The food and service on the day (and at the tasting!) was incredible and they made us feel so at ease that everything was in hand. They are genuinely lovely people too, really down to earth and easy to get on with. If you’re looking for quality vegan food and incredible service, look no further!

Sophie and Dave catered our wedding this summer - honestly 10/10 couldn’t recommend them enough. Having a fully vegan menu was super important to us - we’re real foodies - so we wanted to be able to eat everything on the day! From the off they were super flexible with menu - we wanted a tapas style feast - and we loved what we landed on. It was tailored perfectly for us!

We had plenty of allergies to contend with (nuts and gluten) - they didn’t even flinch, making us feel like it was all no trouble at all - and options were outstanding!

Day of, couldn’t have asked for a better team - we had a marquee wedding at home, and they fitting into the day seamlessly. Every member of their team was so friendly and service was brilliant - just lovely to have around!

And our guests - most of whom are not vegan - raved about the food! We had countless messages following the day saying it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding & the standard ‘we literally couldn’t believe it was as all vegan!’

Sophie and Dave were amazing at putting together a custom sharing menu for our main wedding meal, inspired by our travels. We then chose from some of their tried and tested favourites for the canapés and evening food, which went down a treat! It was great to have the chance to have a tasting to try all the food in advance, and they really refined the dishes ahead of the big day. We got so many compliments about the food, from veggies, vegans and meat-eaters alike. Sophie and Dave are a lovely couple who clearly take a lot of pride and joy in their cooking and work, it was a pleasure having them around during the wedding. We would 100% recommend Vegan Junkies!

As vegans with a lot of farming family, we knew a vegan wedding might be a tough sell to some of our guests. But from the first call with Dave and Sophie, we knew we'd found the right people! We had around 110 people with an afternoon tea style wedding breakfast and the festival stall with chilli for evening food - a number of people didn't even realise the evening food was vegan! All the food went down so well, and Dave and Sophie were fantastic with guests with dietary requirements, coming to speak to them all personally before each course. They were really part of the day, down to the little touches like setting aside a portion of the evening food for me when I hadn't managed to make it off the dancefloor yet and some of the guests were going back for seconds! The whole vegan junkies team on the day were fantastic, and never stopped smiling.

But beyond the food, what is really amazing about Dave and Sophie is how professional, adaptable, warm and friendly they are. Our wedding could not have been more DIY, down to renovating the barns the wedding and the catering were set up in. I'm sure this was a more challenging catering set up than some of the venues they normally work at, but you'd never have known it. If they were slightly alarmed at arriving to what sill looked like a building site the day before the wedding, they didn't let it show at all. As a slightly stressed bride, groom and family in the last couple of days leading up to it, this was so so appreciated, and your energy was a big part of us all feeling like we could actually pull off the day!

We were so thrilled to be able to give all our guests delicious food that felt authentically us, and can't thank you enough!

Right from the very start, the Vegan Junkies gave 1000% to ensure that our wedding food was everything we dreamed it to be. From our first emails and video calls, to our food tastings and follow-up conversations leading up to the wedding, communication was easy and enjoyable. Following our first food tasting, we wanted to make a few tweaks, and Sophie and Dave not only invited us for a second food tasting to ensure that we felt happy with the food, but they smashed it out the park; they really listened to our feedback. The food was incredible and we knew it would be on the day. On the wedding, the food was just as delicious, a full Thai feast - a cuisine which is very special to us. We have some difficult eaters in the family who we knew wouldn’t eat the same food we’d chosen for our wedding breakfast, along with some of the most complex allergies I think Sophie and Dave had ever seen, and they honestly went above and beyond to ensure that not only could they eat at our wedding, but that they would have something they could enjoy. Our friend with some of the more complex food allergies even commented on how he’d been able to try foods he had never eaten before, and how incredible that was for him, so thank you Sophie and Dave. People still keep telling us today how delicious they thought the food was! Not only was the food amazing, but Sophie and Dave are so warm and welcoming; they feel like friends and we hope to see them again in the future!

We booked the vegan junkies for our wedding weekend to serve canapes, a Mediterranean sharing feast, buffalo cauliflower wings and chips in the evening, then the following day mexican loaded nachos and rice. From beginning to end the food was PERFECTION, we had so many comments about how people would 'turn vegan' for food like that! We couldn't have asked for anything more. All the staff were so lovely and Sophie and Dave were so accommodating, easy to contact and just all round great people! Couldn't recommend them more highly!

Vegan Junkies were perfect. We attended a wedding that they had catered previously and been bowled over, so when we got engaged we were determined to have them! From the beginning Sophie and Dave were delightful to work with, really engaged in our vision and offering so many options and ideas. They were professional and easy to contact, but also friendly and the service felt really personal too. Their enthusiasm for their food, but also for our enjoyment of the day, made the whole process lovely and fun. The variety in their menu choices is impressive but we settled on a sharing feast and our guests loved it! The majority were not even vegetarian, and we got some raised eyebrows at the idea of a vegan wedding, but everyone raved about the curries and the salted caramel cheesecake was out of this world.
The food was amazing. The service was professional and personal. The attention to detail was impressive. Every step of the way we had complete confidence in Sophie and Dave. Book them!

Sophie and Dave were absolutely brilliant from the very beginning. We are SO glad we found them for our wedding. The food was incredible, all the guests were raving about it. They were so responsive to our emails, happy to have a call if we ever needed to chat things through and super accommodating to all guest allergies and intolerances. Dave and Sophie really went the extra mile to make sure we had the best day possible. They’re not just caterers, they are experienced wedding vendors who know what they’re doing! Trust them, follow their guidance and you will have the best day and people will be talking about the food for weeks afterwards. Nothing was too much for them, including feeding 150 people in 30° heat and catering to some very specific dietary requirements. The staff were attentive, making a bee-line for me to make sure I ate the canapés during the drinks reception! From start to finish we were in good hands and delighted that we picked Vegan Junkies. I wish I could eat those sausage rolls again xxx

Sophie and Dave are sunshine personified. Whilst it is about the food, I’m sure every other review will describe how outstanding the food is, I think choosing Sophie and Dave to cater your event means choosing people who listen carefully, make notes, are instinctively helpful and provide thoughtful suggestions. They’ll independently seek out information, connect with other vendors who are at your event and liaise with the venue without intervention.

It may sound obvious but each detail and step they do is considered and lightweight. Our day and the planning of our wedding was only as successful as it was because of these two. They were the glue that kept everything together - they had constant smiles on their faces, genuinely loved interacting with the guests and each moment with them felt more like being with friends.

Choosing the Vegan Junkies to cater not only means having soup related dreams after their tasting menu and having other non-vegans excitedly coming up to you telling you how great the food was, but it means choosing people who care so deeply about the people they work with. We will be forever grateful for their amazing energy, incredible and loving food and the time spent travelling to us in Cornwall.

Vegan Junkies recently catered our wedding in the Peak District and they were great! Just over 100 people and we had nothing but compliments from vegans and meat eaters alike. Successfully juggled a whole load of dietary requirements, including coeliac. Portion sizes were spot on. They're a lovely couple and were easy to work with throughout. In the lead up kept us informed if they needed anything and helped us figure out solutions to small dinning related problems. They'd catered our venue before which helped with our day being very DIY and having chosen a venue that might not have been as well stocked as other catering kitchens. We’re considering planning another event just to have an excuse to have their mac & cheese balls and summer rolls again!

Sophie and Dave did a fabulous job catering our wedding. The whole process was easy and the food was delicious. Our guests (even the non vegans) all enjoyed the food, with one even commenting how surprised they were that we had beef burgers come out later on (they were vegan burgers). He said they were the best burgers he'd ever had! Sophie, Dave and their team were all so lovely, friendly, and professional as well. I don't plan on getting married again 😂 but if I did I'd definitely book them again!
