Wedding Food

We chose Shoot the Bull as we saw they offered a street food option. We wanted our wedding extremely casual with no sit down meals and they listened to our requirements and made it even better than we could have hoped! We opted for Canapés and then street food to be served festival style with guests able to go up whenever they wanted. The food was incredible and their kindness was unmatched, even making sure my younger niece was fed before service even started as she was starving. Couldn’t recommend Shoot the Bull enough!

So pleased!

From the beginning, Sarah was brilliant - so supportive and helpful. I have coeliac disease and was so glad to have found a caterer who took gluten free so seriously. We had a tasting at Hull Truck, then at the wedding had canapés, starter, main and night time catering from them too. Really pleased with the quality of food and service - wedding food can sometimes be a bit naff but we and our guests were absolutely blown away - everyone keeps mentioning it

Incredible food

The food was absolutely incredible! Our guests still talk about the food at our wedding, the portions are huge and the staff are so friendly. It was simple to organise the menu, we had 3 meal choices plus a vegan option. They also catered for the children at our wedding easily.

Look no further and book STB!

Shoot the bull was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! From seamless booking and communication, to super and smooth service on the day! The food was absolute 10/10 with a wide range to choose from, us and our guests will did not stop talking about our wedding menu! Absolute perfection from team shoot the bull!

Wonderful, friendly team, great food!

Shoot the bull we're absolutely brilliant right from the start. Sarah guided us through all our options and gave us such helpful tips on what would work best for us. The team on the day were absolutely brilliant, incredibly helpful and friendly and made everything run so smoothly. The canapes were the best I've ever tasted (Yorkshire puds were incredible in particular!) and the passion fruit tarts were virtually inhaled by our guests! Great food, really plentiful and amazing team!

Wedding breakfast and evening street food

Right from the start, Sarah at STB was very responsive and lovely to chat with. We explained what we were after (wedding breakfast for a small number including children and then evening food for 90 reception guests) and nothing was too much trouble.

We picked from a set menu that had plenty of choice including many vegetarian options. We had some dietary requirements as well as my autistic nephew having specific needs, but everything we asked for they made happen.

Budget-wise we think it was very reasonable, especially for the quality and portions of the food. Everyone said how nice it was and how much they enjoyed it.

On the day, Dan and his team were exceptional at serving the food, including carrying all the evening food upstairs due to bad weather. I highly recommend STB catering for any event.

Incredible food

Shoot the Bull did an amazing job catering our wedding and they helped so much in the lead up to the day so we could really relax knowing we were in safe hands! The team are so friendly, professional and made our wedding all the more special. Everyone who came absolutely raved about the food and the servers were really attentive when it came to refilling platters. We opted for the sharing platters and they went down a storm- everything was cooked to perfection and it’s clear the menu has been really well designed. In the evening, we went for pizzas and again so many people commented on how delicious the food was. We would seriously recommend Shoot the Bull to anyone who is looking for wedding catering as our wedding meal still stands out as one of the best things about the day!

Best wedding food EVER

From start to finish, working with Shoot the Bull on our wedding catering was an absolute dream. Every member of the team was incredible in both the run up to the day and on the day itself to ensure that our food was perfect and our day ran seamlessly. Sarah was amazing at reassuring us during the planning process and her vast experience in the industry is evident in how she plans so meticulously, offering sage advice at every stage. During the planning process, no question was left unanswered and Sarah went above and beyond in her role to make sure we had the best experience. Dan and the rest of the team are incredible at what they do: the food was out of this world and the menus they have devised are equal parts unique and yet cater to every dietary requirement/ palette. Several guests took the time to let us know it was the best experience of catering that they had ever had at a wedding and although we are biased, we couldn’t agree more. Thanks to everyone at Shoot the Bull for making our day incredible!

Beautiful food and fabulous service

My husband and I hired shoot the bull for our wedding. They catered for the day and evening and did not disappoint. We were all so unbelievably impressed with the quality and quantity of the food as well as the fast and friendly service. All our guests keep raving about how lush the food was too.

We have been speaking with Sarah and talked through what we wanted, she listened and guided when needed. She has been fabulous and always responds in a timely manner to our emails. We seriously would recommend to everyone.

Outstanding

The food that Shoot the Bull did for us on our special day was A MAZE ING. The guests could not get enough and neither could we, we had decided to go with the grazing board option 1 for all of our guests and this was perfect meal. Everything from start to finish was exceptional, the layout, the service, not to mention the food, just kept coming and coming to keep every table topped up. So many compliments from the guests. Our Wedding 8th June 2024

From start to finish, STB have been amazing! The entire team are all fab, from keeping us so organised on the run up to the wedding to the wedding day itself.

We felt so well looked after, as did our guests. Everything has been so well managed from start to finish and we really have felt in the best of hands throughout, and especially on the wedding day itself.

Every single wedding guests mentioned how amazing our food was - this was our no1 aim for the day, all made happen by Dan and the team.

Special thanks to Sarah, Dan, Chris, James, all of which have been the best! I would 100% recommend STB.

So, we want to say a huge thank you to the entire STB team, you really have been great!
