Wedding Celebrants in East Riding of Yorkshire

Michelle was amazing , better than we had dreamt. We wanted a pagan ceremony bringing in the elements and goddesses. It wasn’t your quick 15 min ceremony, Michelle worked tirelessly meeting with us on zoom and filling in detailed questionnaires to her about our love story . The ceremony was around half an hour to 45 minutes and got the guests involved too. After the wedding day she sent us in a nice personalised folder her script and our vows we wrote to each other. All the guests loved it and commented on never have been to a wedding like it.

I would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a celebrant for their wedding. We have already recommended him to friends getting married next year! Mark was the celebrant at our wedding in July 2025 at Thicket Priory. He was very helpful in the lead up to the wedding. He arranged to go the venue and spoke with our wedding coordinator off his own back. He made both my husband and I feel very relaxed about the whole process. He listened to everything we wanted and shaped our ceremony to make it fitting for us as a couple. We had several guests make comments about how beautifully Mark made the ceremony afterwards as well. After meeting several celebrants, Mark just felt like the most appropriate as he could combine elements from different types of ceremonies to fit us. He answered all our questions, no matter how stupid we thought they were, with a wealth of knowledge and kindness.

Julie was a fantastic celebrant for our special ceremony. She had so many great ideas and a very calming way about her. Some of her ideas which I took on were a harp being played when we walked in, a family handfasting/binding with ribbons, a water blessing, candle blessing, and a flower mandala. Also handmade certificates presented to the children at the end (it was their naming ceremony). I was on the other side of the World throughout all the planning, and Julie made me feel calm and unworried about how it would all go. She was on the phone at agreed times, and reliable in her email communication. She sent me drafts of what she would say numerous times until I was happy with it. It was the best day, running so smoothly, with Julie welcoming the guests and getting them seated, which I’m so grateful for. Thanks Julie for all you recommendations, idea and help! Tracy, our celebrant, was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. From our initial meeting to the catch ups in the lead up to the wedding, she was supportive, organised and truly invested in getting to know us as a couple. On the big day she created the most personalised and beautiful ceremony, capturing our story perfectly and setting the tone for everything that followed. We could not have asked for anyone better and we are so grateful for the care and heart she put into every detail.
