I have tried to write this review so many times but it has always ended up being too long so I’m going to get to the point.

Norm and Iris the brains and incredible people behind Grates catering are amazing at what they do. From start to finish, I could not fault what they managed to do for us. On the day of our wedding, everyone was raving about their food. This meant that they couldn’t wait to get a taste of what they had cooked up for our late night snack option (tacos).

I honestly can’t thank you enough for everything.

Iris and Norman were great to work with, they are super friendly and personable but more than anything, they are incredibly talented. We had flank steak and trout for our wedding breakfast and three delicious sides. Everything was presented beautifully and I lost count of the amount of people who told me it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten. Would highly recommended to anybody.

THEY WERE INCREDIBLE!

When we first contacted Norman and Iris we were in the early stages of planning our wedding day and from the first phone call followed months of changes and so much indecisiveness on our part!! With every change, deliberation and all of our questions we were never made to feel like we were hard work (even though we must of been!!)

They were so understanding, helpful and informative! Very professional but in a personal welcoming way!

We built our own wedding in tipis in a field and it wasn’t the most straightforward setting but Norman and Iris were so accommodating!!

We couldn’t quite believe how it was going to come together - a sit down meal for 150 followed by evening food for 250 all cooked over the coals - no electricity or anything was needed! But it just did! It was amazing!!

Our food was one of the things I think every guest commented on! No one could believe it!! Not only were the fire pits a show on their own but the food was just impeccable! The serving team were all so so great too - great rapport with guests - very professional team but fun too!!

Everything was perfect and better than we had imagined!

We just could not thank you enough!

We are so glad we found Norm + Iris to cater for our post wedding day fire feast. Fantastic to deal with them throughout the whole process and they really helped us create what we wanted from our day. They 100% delivered on the agreed menu and we plus guests were all extremely satisfied! The set up and cooking is a show in itself. Their setup is completely self sufficient and they provide recyclable tableware/cutlery if required. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and wouldn’t hesitate to be in touch again if we can find another excuse. Thanks guys!
