We are a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong passion for fantastic food and service. After years of working in the industry as Head Chef/General Manager we decided to establish Grate Catering & Events to share our passion with more like-minded people and show how amazing food is and enjoying it with others can really be.

We take pride in the produce that we use and do think it is important to only use high welfare meats, sustainable fish and seasonal vegetables, all sourced as locally as possible bursting with flavour.

What to expect from Grate

Everything that we serve is cooked over live fire using charcoal from sustainable woodland, adding elements of smoke to everything we cook. All of this adds an element of theatre to your big day enabling the guests to look on and see the food they are about to eat being cooked over the burning coals.

Our food offer

We serve everything from canapes, sit down sharing platters, food for the evening snack and even breakfast for any of your guests who have stayed over.
