TCGC were absolutely brilliant and we're so pleased we chose them as our wedding caterers. They made the process so simple from the start and couldn't have been more helpful. We've had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding food they've had. They created the best atmosphere for our cocktail hour and we couldn't have asked for more! -

Tim and his incredible team brought our dream wedding menu to absolute reality! From the moment they ran our private tasting, which felt like sitting around a table at a friend’s house, we knew we were in great hands.
The food on the day was nothing short of phenomenal. The fire-roasted canapés were an absolute highlight, especially the scallops with ’nduja butter, smoky padrón peppers, and a bourbon pork belly that endless guests are still raving about. The lamb asador was the undeniable centerpiece of the meal, with every side dish complementing it perfectly. Even though Tim couldn't be there in person on the day, his team executed everything flawlessly and provided fantastic service from start to finish. We couldn't complain about a single thing and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Once we get our official wedding photos back, we will definitely be adding pictures to do this incredible food justice! -

They offered a catering schedule that worked around our needs and were really accommodating for allergies and small intricate changes throughout planning. We were delighted to see the presentation that they had out front, which added greatly to the vibes of the day. All throughout the process Tim was great with us and kept in constant touch to make sure that any changes that we needed were reflected in what they were going to deliver on the day. The food was one of the highlights of the day as we had hoped that it would be. We went for the "it's a Braai" menu and I can say that it had certified South African praise from that side of the family. Everyone else also scored the food 10 out of 10.

We’re so pleased that we chose The Charcol Grill Company as our wedding caterers. From the first message/call Tim and Sam were brilliant. They worked with us to create the perfect menu for our special day, and hosted us for an incredible tasting. We chose canapés, main courses, sides, cheesecake, and kebabs for the evening. On the day, Tim and his entire team were professional and friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all great fun. The food was absolutely delicious - so many of our guests have said it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Thank you Tim and Sam for playing such a huge part in making our day so special. If you’re thinking of booking TCGC then don’t hang around - get them locked in. You won’t regret it! X -

We can't thank Sam, Tim and the staff at The Charcoal Grill enough for their hospitality and being part of our day. The food was UNBELIEVABLE - just absolutely sublime from start to finish, with top notch quality produce! Somehow it was even better than I remember it being at the tasting (and that's really saying something as it was bloody gorgeous then!) We have had sooooo many comments on how good the food was, every single plate was left empty! We are both big foodies, so the catering for our wedding was right at the top of our priority list and we honestly couldn't have asked for better food, I'm still thinking about that steak now.... Sam & Tim really are the dream team, at the tasting it felt like we were having lunch with old friends and we instantly knew that we were in safe hands. We can't recommend them enough and will 100% be using them for any future events!The Charcoal Grill Company's reply:

Best BBQ food around!! Tim catered for our wedding and the food was AMAZING.
During the lead up, we found Tim to be really supportive and flexible - something we struggled to find with other BBQ companies. The set-up on the day was awesome and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on the quantity and quality of food! The service was great too and everything went smoothly. It was a massive hit and we absolutely loved it. It was a lovely relaxed vibe and exactly what we hoped for.
Thank you so much - we had so much fun!
