I create speciality wedding cakes suited to any couple.
I like to take the couple's essence and capture it in the cake.
I always have excellent deals that can't be beaten.
I am based in Hamilton town centre and have a shop you can come in for an appointment to chat about your cake.
I have over 200 wedding cake designs to choose from.
There is a choice of 5 flavours (keeps it nice and simple). If you don't see a flavour, just ask.
I can work with fondant or buttercream. I can make fondant figures. I can make toppers from card and acrylic. This comes with the cake if requested.

First class!
Claire was absolutely fabulous! No ask was too much. She listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered a great service! Our cake looked stunning and tasted even better. Great value for money & the customer service was brilliant. Claire also made up a box of cupcakes which was delivered to me and my bridesmaids on the morning of our wedding - such a gorgeous touch

After getting a great deal on Facebook, we got a three tier cake with cupcakes and 100 biscuit favours included. The cake tiers were absolutely amazing flavours (raspberry ripple especially),could not recommend more! The cake was exactly what we wanted and exceeded out expectations. The favours were beautiful with our initials on them and tasted delicious.

Wonderful company
Rumours provided our wedding cake, cupcakes and favours for our special day. Not only was the service second to none they were so good that there was nothing left. All the guests had seconds lol

Amazing bespoke service
From the minute I contacted Claire, she was so helpful, creative and welcoming. Fantastic Bakehouse to sample cakes, offered brilliant ideas that resulted in a more beautiful cake than we could imagine!

Claire is an absolute legend.
Claire knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding cake. Got the colour scheme spot on. We had cupcakes with our wedding cake. It all blended so well. We also had tablet made with sage green ribbon. Everything was perfect and tasted amazing.

Fantastic Rumour Bakehouse
We ordered using one of Claires wedding offers and to be honest we were a bit nervous about using a supplier I hadnt heard of. We had no need to worry and in fact Claire and her team made our experience a fantastic one, not only did we have a tasting of flavours, she also listened to our ideas and asked the theme of our wedding. Taking all this on board she designed a cake for us which didnt only taste great but looked better than I could have imagined it. The price of the cake was unbelievable too. I was so happy with our experience that Claire is now my go to for any other cakes that I need. I would highly recommend to any bride for your big day.

Would highly recommend Claire for your weddding cake or any occasion cake , Claire goes above and beyond to help you create your cake for your special day , nothing is an issue and Claire always goes above and beyond to make everything perfect we now use Claire for all our cakes even if it’s just popping in for a cake for the kids at the weekend wouldn’t go anywhere else you couldn’t meet a nicer person 💗

Fantastic!!!!
Amazing service from start to finish, we got our wedding cake from Rumours Bakehouse and I’m so glad we went with them; the cake was stunning and also extremely delicious! We also got given complimentary cupcakes which we, and all our wedding guests loved. The cake was delivered efficiently and the communication was 10/10. Would highly recommend this cake supplier!!!💕

Exactly what we wanted
Claire made my beautiful wedding cake that tasted as good as it looked. We discussed themes and had a tasting for the flavours beforehand. Claire even matched the flowers on the cake to my venue decorations, great communication and great delivery to the venue. Thank you ❤️

Perfect down to the last detail
I would highly recommend Claire at Rumours Bakehouse. Claire was fabulous in creating our (delicious) wedding cake. Nothing was too big and she responded to my every question and every single quirky request (even late into the night!)
