Meet the team
’m Svetlana, the person behind Mrs P’s Cakes in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire.
I started my cake business in 2021, turning my love of baking into something more. Since then, I’ve created cakes for weddings, birthdays and other special occasions. My work was recognised with the CakeFlix Cake of the Year award in 2023.
My cakes range from classic wedding designs to 3D and sculpted cakes. I take care of every cake myself, from the first conversation about the design to baking, decorating, delivery and setting up the cake at the venue.
I believe there is always something new to learn, so I continue to develop my skills through further training in cake design and decoration.
For me, it’s important to get the details right and create a cake that feels personal to the person it’s made for, while tasting just as good as it looks.
