About Simon's Bakery

Since focusing his time solely on cake and patisserie making from the beginning of 2018, Simon's Bakery has been gradually building a fantastic reputation in the industry by working with bridal couples across London and surrounding areas. With a natural passion for baking, and experience spanning more than 20 years, founder Simon takes a simple philosophy that everything he makes must taste as good as it looks. With the emphasis on working with Swiss meringue buttercream and ganache, a huge variety of delicious flavours, textures and colour palettes can be created, and without the need to remove a layer of sickly sweet fondant in order to get to the good stuff! 

Simon will work with you every step of the way, getting to know you and understanding your requirements while also suggesting design features and flavours that you may not have thought of. All of which will allow him to create a cake that is individual to you and will complement your day perfectly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do your services cost?

I'll always try and work within your budget, but as a guide, a semi naked cake with edible organic flowers feeding at least 100 people is £370. For a full Swiss meringue buttercream cake feeding the same number of people, a 'blank canvas' starts at £420. Decoration such as macarons, chocolate work, wafer paper decoration, gold leaf, flowers etc will add to the cost. Delivery and set up is on top of this.

Do you offer any other services?

I specialise in macarons and patisserie and can supply items for smaller events and weddings

How much notice do I need to give you?

10 days before the event, but depending on what other jobs I have on this can be closer. Just send me a message.

Do you deliver?

Yes. Delivery and set up is an additional cost and will vary on the distance from my base in SW London and the complexity of the set up.

What are the forms of payment?
