We booked Charlotte for our wedding to make us our cake and two honeymoon cakes along with a selection of desserts. The food is incredible, everything tasted beautiful and we had so many compliments about what we had. The cakes were so moist and the honeymoon cakes tasted just as good after a week. The gluten free options we had were so good nobody knew they were actually gluten free. The prices are really good for the quality you get and we will be using her again for other occasions! You will not regret booking Charlotte for your occasion.

Charlotte was amazing. We approached her about two months to the wedding, which is quite last minute when it comes to big events like this. We had only 6 months to plan our wedding and Charlotte was very flexible to accommodate our request. The process from consultation, testing and delivery was so smooth. Given the timelines we were working with, Charlotte made sure our tasters were delivered in express shipping so we could have an opportunity to taste and make our choice. The flavours are diverse and well executed. All our guest loved the cake! On the day of the wedding she also saved the day by helping us with our personalised cake topper which accidentally broke during transportation as we were heading with it to the venue. She came to the rescue and made sure our day was as stressful as free as possible. We had a great experience working with her and would highly recommend her for anyone interested in a stress free, friendly and professional service. You will not be disappointed for sure 💕.

Absolutely amazing! Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but tasted incredible too — we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The mini Millionaire’s Shortbread and Donuts were absolutely delicious and went down a treat with our guests! 🍰🍩🤎

We had such a great experience with Charlotte from the amazingly delicious cake tasting right through to seeing our cake set up on our wedding day which was just stunning! It looked just as I hoped it would and tasted absolutely amazing! The whole lot went on the day which says something as I’ve read so many instances where so much of the cake was leftover and wasted.

Even the individual coeliac cakes she made for us went down a treat!

From our very first cake tasting to our wedding day, the whole experience was fantastic. Every flavour we sampled was absolutely delicious, and choosing just one was almost impossible! In the end, because we couldn’t decide on a favourite, we were able to include cupcakes as well, which was the perfect solution and gave our guests even more amazing flavours to enjoy.

Throughout the process, communication was excellent and everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

On the day itself, the cake setup was absolutely gorgeous and looked even better than I had imagined. It fitted perfectly with our wedding and was a real talking point among our guests. Most importantly, everything tasted incredible.

I highly recommend Charlotte as she is an amazing baker who listens and made us feel so at ease. Throughout the whole process her friendly and professional manner made the whole cake styling and creating experience a dream. We decided to get a desert table as well through Appleyard bakery and this did not disappoint. The deserts flew out, I have never seen deserts empty so quickly, and when refilled the same happened again. Everything looks immaculate and exactly as requested. Charlotte was amazing. Listened to what we liked and made suggestions to help. We were quite open minded so we sent some pictures for inspiration and let Charlotte do her thing. No regrets. Most perfect yummy cake! Guests loved it!

Charlotte was brilliant when it came to understanding our vision and blending a heavy chocolate cake into a white wedding theme, with a splash of colour of our wedding suits. She was incredibly helpful and patient when choosing our dessert bar, and all guests were raving about her cakes and biscuits. We had ZERO leftovers as everyone was so happy with the cakes, they all took boxes on the evening! I would 10000% recommend Appleyard Bakery for all of your requirements, it made our day so special and stress free!!
