Reworked my heirloom dress to perfectly suit me.
When I got engaged I knew I wanted to wear a version of my Mum’s dress on my wedding day, Lisa had previously created a beautiful custom gown for my Dad and Step-Mum’s wedding, and when I discovered that she offers a service reworking vintage and heirloom dresses, I had to get in touch.
From our very first phone call, Lisa was just as excited and enthusiastic as I was about the project. We talked through my ideas and how we could transform the dress into my dream dress while keeping its sentimental heart intact.
Throughout every fitting, Lisa was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. When I couldn’t decide between having sleeves or not, she came up with the perfect solution, detachable sleeves, allowing me to customise my look on the day. It was such a thoughtful touch that reflected her creativity, skill and understanding of her indecisive client!
Lisa treated my very special, sentimental dress with such care and respect, and the final result was beyond anything I could have imagined. Her work is beautiful and finished to the highest standard, but most importantly the dress remained recognisable, keeping the elements I loved most, yet felt fresh, modern, and uniquely mine.

I saw a photo of one of Lisa's designs at the start of my search, and it stayed with me while I looked in boutiques and stores. Then I met Lisa, saw the dress design, and that was that. I can't recommend Lisa enough. She was so kind to work with, she genuinely listened to me. Lisa really cares about her work, and that is evident in the quality of her creations. I couldn't be happier with my wedding dress - it's elegant, detailed but not fussy. I wore the dress, the dress didn't wear me. I have had so many compliments from my friends and family about the dress, including 'stunning' and 'exquisite'. I loved wearing Lisa's design. The cost is such good value for money, and because Lisa can make bespoke touches, I love knowing that no other bride will ever have the exact same dress as I wore on my wedding day.

Lisa is hugely knowledgeable and just incredible at what she does, I always felt in safe hands. I was very indecisive with design decisions which couldn't have been easy to work with (sorry Lisa!!), but Lisa always took on board my thoughts and helped to guide me through the process, and I was so happy with my dress in the end. The entire process was an amazing and unique experience, and so reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommend!

Lisa was fantastic to work with - so meticulous with amazing attention to detail and sense of style. I felt in safe hands from start to finish and the process is so thorough and fairly priced. Lisa is amazing & I would recommend her to anyone. Initially I took my dress to Lisa for alterations but I later decided I wanted to restyle of the skirt section. We were against the clock as my wedding was only 6 weeks away & Lisa was so flexible with appointments, fitting me in out of hours. Her attention to detail is first class & she really cares. Lisa was absolutely a delight to work with! I ordered my wedding dress form a boutique on the slightly later side and they couldn't accommodate me for alterations in a less than 10 week period. I messaged Lisa and she was able to see me that week (around my rather inflexible schedule). My alterations were perfect - dress fit me like a glove and she added an easy-to-manuever bustle for my long train - I felt so beautiful! Alterations were completed in a really timely fashion. She was also very communicative and easy to get in touch with. I would recommend her to any bride!Lisa Lyons Bridal's reply:

Incredibly lovely lady who made my dream dress for unbelievable value!
I couldn’t believe my luck when I found Lisa! She is incredibly lovely, patient and flexible. She is extremely talented and had the most stunning and comfortable dresses, I fell in love with one, and she then made me my own version from scratch with a handful of changes I wanted - all for significantly less than the cost of all the other dresses I’d tried on in boutiques/shops! Plus if you happen to already know exactly what you want, Lisa can make that for you too :) So I would recommend Lisa to ANYONE looking for a wedding dress (and I do!!), because she is a dream to work with and will give you your dream dress. Bespoke dress of dreams!
It was an amazing feeling wearing a hand made, one of a kind, bespoke wedding dress that I had designed myself, and I am so thankful to Lisa for putting my vision together. The process is fun from seeing sketches, choosing fabrics, trying on mock ups, to the finishing touches! I changed my mind along the way and this was never too much trouble either.
