I have had a great experience with Cynthia during my bridal alterations consultation. Even before receiving my final dress, she was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful when assessing what would work best. She gave honest, expert advice on how to enhance the dress while still keeping my vision intact. I had been elsewhere and didn't feel guided by the expert, whereas Cynthia really helped and I could tell she knew what she was talking about.

I very much believe some people come into your life for a reason and as a blessing and that’s definitely what Cynthia is. I accidentally missed the step of booking in my alteration as soon as I bought my dress and 2 months before the wedding I’m scrambling, but Cynthia did not hesitate to see me. Her welcome was so warm and her experience and knowledge are so rich in value. I felt at home with her in her studio while we talked in detail about how my dress should fit and wear she can alter it to make it feel and sit on my body 10 times better than it did pre-alterations. It was so easy to see the vision and the process through her explanation. Hands down one of the best experiences I have had through this wedding planning process and Cynthia holds a special space in making my wedding vision come together.

Cynthia is an artist - just wore my grandmothers beautifully remade wedding dress after such a beautiful design journey with Cynthia. She truly is an expert and knew exactly what to do to bring the family heirloom into the modern day. I knew from the first meeting I wanted to put my trust in her to remake the dress. We also built a beautiful trusted friendship through the journey too!

Cynthia made me a wedding dress that surpassed my wildest dreams. After endless searching through ready-made wedding dresses, I knew I would never find one that was just right for me. Where do I even begin? I came to Cynthia with a very idiosyncratic dress design which was inspired from fifteenth-century manuscripts and she transformed by idea into the dress of my dreams! Everyone was gushing on the wedding day and the best part about the design is that I can now work with her on repurposing it for a regular formal gown by dyeing it blue. She is extremely meticulous when it comes to pattern cutting and thinking about how fabric is supposed to fall and affect one’s silhouette - the mark of a truly talented dress-maker.

On an individual level, Cynthia is extremely friendly and funny and treats you like a friend. I especially loved hearing all her tales about the ups and downs and the drama behind wedding dress design. Unlike most other designers I’ve tried to work with, she actually responds to e-mails and fixed dates in calendars and working with her has none of the faff which is more common to other bespoke designers. :)

After struggling for months and about to give up ever finding anything she loved, she met Cynthia online who took her measurements and sent her all the ideas with fabrics direct to her home. I fell in love with the 'Gabrielle wedding dress' design. It was so different from anything else I had seen and the dress felt wonderful I couldnt imagine myself in anything else. Cynthia, tailored the dress to fit me and it was perfect from start to finish. Her team and support staff were outstanding with organising appointments for me and following up.. My wedding day was evern more special than I could ever have imagined. I felt so beautiful and everyone loved my dress. Designing my dress was challenging as I had just had my baby daughter and my body kept changing size. Cynthia was so patient, even though it took much longer than we had planned. Her calmness and honest approach was exactly what I needed and her expertise is faultless. She is exactly who you need in your corner when it comes to designing your dream dress and I would highly recommend her to anyone. My Mom and Dad both cried and so did my bridal party which made me cry too. The entire experience is such a meaningful one with countless memories and a great friend who feels like family.
