Wedding Makeup Review for Rachel
On the wedding morning, Rachel was so much more than a makeup artist — she was a calming, reassuring, and supportive presence. She made the whole getting-ready process feel relaxed and joyful, and her warmth instantly put me at ease.
The makeup itself was absolutely flawless. It enhanced my features beautifully, looked stunning in person and in photos, and lasted perfectly all day and night — through tears, laughter, endless hugs, and dancing. I never once needed a touch-up, which is exactly what every bride dreams of.
What meant the most to me, though, was how Rachel went above and beyond. She didn’t just finish my makeup and leave — she stayed to help me into my dress and made sure I felt completely ready before I walked out the door. That extra level of care and kindness is something I’ll never forget.
Rachel is an artist in every sense of the word, but she’s also one of the loveliest people you could hope to have by your side on such an important day. I felt radiant, confident, and truly beautiful, and I owe so much of that to her.

Had lots of knowledge on hair and makeup and choosing the correct tones for my skin. She listened to what I would like and came up with some amazing ideas. We had a great laugh.
Wedding day - it was so lovely to have her there whilst getting ready. Makeup and hair was amazing for us all. From the beginning through emails, Rachel was kind, professional and communicated effectively. Once meeting her for my trial, I instantly felt all anxiety leave and knew I could trust her to do my makeup for my wedding. Rachel was able to talk me through everything, listened to any feedback and made changes quickly.
On my actual wedding day she was fabulous and didn't add any stress to the day, I had someone else present to do hair and she was also very good at working alongside her so that everybody got their job done with ease. I also must commend her on working with my mum, who had not put a full face of makeup on herself since she was 18, she loved the experience and also loved her makeup.

Away from the world of weddings, I absolutely love rollercoasters and would happily spend all my days off at a Theme Park. I also love everything Disney, and am currently counting down the days to my next trip to Disneyland Paris in October 2025.
I'm a keen runner, and currently training for a 10k before starting training for a half marathon next year. Yes, I'm that girl who checks her Strava stats before she's even made it home...
I'm a musical lover and have seen practically every show in the West End (if I wasn't a make-up artist, I like to think I'd be on stage belting out 'Defying Gravity' - although my old singing teacher would probably disagree).
My Spotify playlist is filled with Taylor Swift, Flight of the Concords, Lily Allen and Lana Del Rey (depending on my mood), and I also love listening to the Mel Robbins Podcast - I was the top 0.5% of listeners to her podcast on Spotify last year..! My only ask, is please don't put me in charge of music on your wedding morning! It will be a mix Disney, musicals, McFly or whatever songs my kids are currently into...
