Having Carys as my MUA was the perfect choice for me. Usually I don’t wear too much make up so it was all a bit new to me, which did have me worried when I was looking for an MUA. However Carys made myself and everyone else feel calm and comfortable on the day. The hair and make up looked excellent and stayed on all night.

The make up trial really helped me feel confident in my choice and how I would look on the day. When she said 3 hours for the trial I originally thought that it may be too much but the time flew by and I had a great time!

Carys was highly skilled, professional and friendly. Her pricing is very reasonable and clear. Travel etc is all built into her quote which I found helpful. I really liked that my trial was at her studio as I preferred this to an mua coming to my house. Carys encouraged and took on board feedback at my trial.
She always responded to emails within 24hrs. She happily answered questions and nothing appeared to be too much trouble for her.
She arrived on time to the venue and my hair and makeup looked incredible and greatly exceeded my expectations as it looked better than my trial hair and makeup which I loved anyway. I originally had my make up done as a bridesmaid and as soon as I got home from the wedding I booked Cary’s for my own wedding. Cary’s is so warm and professional and knows how to make you feel relaxed. I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup and Cary’s explained all the questions and options so I could make informed decisions about my make up she made me have a nice natural look and all my bridesmaids look stunning. I felt confident and I’ve looked so pretty and everybody commented on how lovely it looked on the day.

Carys was simply brilliant from the first message right through to some pre-ceremony touch ups. I wanted a natural look for me and my bridesmaids. She listened and tailored what I wanted and it felt really special.

She did a trial for me and my mum and took the time to understand our skin, colourings, vision we're going for - but also she made it fun to try out different looks and discuss other options such as a bold lip or more nude.

On the day, it was so lovely getting ready with her and the rest of my bridal party - she was so efficient with timings and made everyone feel a million dollars from start to finish.

Carys, what fantastic for both my trail and on the day of my wedding. She gave good skin care advice as a total novice. She knew from the get go exactly what I wanted; a classic, natural and fresh look for my wedding day. Carys is also just a very good listener and very personable, I felt comfortable enough to tell her if I felt uncomfortable and when I loved her work. And most importantly I felt calm with her on my wedding day, to the point she handed me my breakfast so I could eat before getting dressed!

Carys helped with the make-up for all my bridesmaids for my wedding in May, and she was amazing. She listened to everyone and made sure that they were happy with their make-up.
