I cannot recommend Carys highly enough! From the very beginning, she asked all the right questions to really understand what I wanted and was so kind, helpful and reassuring throughout the whole process. I actually changed my hairstyle between my trial and the wedding day, and Carys completely understood my vision and absolutely nailed it on the day. Everything looked exactly how I’d hoped, and I felt amazing. She was such a pleasure to have with me on the morning of the wedding. Highly, highly recommend Carys to any bride! -

I couldn’t recommend Carys enough! She was so lovely, friendly and professional from start to finish. She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and helped me feel so confident and comfortable.
Her communication throughout the whole process was fantastic, and she was always so helpful and reassuring. On the morning of the wedding, she made everything feel so smooth, relaxed and special, which made such a difference on what could have been a very hectic morning.
I’m so grateful to her for being such a lovely part of my wedding day and for making me feel my absolute best. She was amazing in every way, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any future brides! 🤍✨ -

I had the best experience with Carys both on my trial and wedding day. She is so calming and lovely which is exactly what I needed! I loved the hair and make up too and it stayed put all day even through hours and hours on the dance floor. I would absolutely recommend her -

The most amazing HMUA!!!!
I honestly cannot thank Carys enough for everything she did for me on our wedding day. She was absolutely fantastic and such a calm, kind and lovely presence to have around.
I found Carys on Hitched, and after seeing so many glowing reviews, and I immediately loved her style. I wanted really natural hair and makeup, and that is her forté to a T! From the moment I got in touch, she was so lovely and made me feel completely comfortable.
Even at my trial, Carys was incredibly calm, relaxed and completely non-judgemental. She really listened to what I wanted, what was important to me and how I wanted to feel on the day, and I felt so comfortable being completely honest with her. Most importantly, she made me feel absolutely beautiful.
Carys was also due to go on maternity leave shortly after my trial and was incredibly kind enough to still work our wedding during her leave. Even while she was on maternity leave, she kept in touch with me and made sure I had everything I needed, which I really appreciated.
On the wedding day, Carys brought Megan (MUA) with her, who she has worked with a number of times, and between them they were absolutely brilliant. Megan did all of my bridesmaids’ makeup and they all felt and looked amazing, while Carys did all of their hair, and honestly, I don’t know what magic she used, but curls that normally disappear from people’s hair within about five minutes stayed in all day and night! She is genuinely a magician.
I felt absolutely incredible, and I’m fairly certain I’m never going to look that good again unless Carys is willing to come round and do my hair and makeup every morning!
What I appreciated most was how calm and supportive Carys was throughout the morning. She helped keep everything on track without ever making the morning feel rushed or stressful, constantly checked that everyone was okay and just brought such a lovely energy to the whole morning. She made everyone feel comfortable, listened to and beautiful, which was exactly what we needed.
I am so incredibly grateful that I found Carys and booked her for our wedding. She is not only incredibly talented at what she does, but also such a kind, genuine and lovely person, and that made having her there on such an important morning even more special.
Thank you so much, Carys, for making me feel so beautiful and for being such a wonderful part of our wedding morning. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for anyone better, and I will absolutely be recommending you to everyone I know!

Where do I even start?! Booking Carys was one of the best decisions I made. I had such a positive experience; I felt listened to, and knew that I was in very safe hands. Carys is so talented; I was absolutely blown away by the finished look, and I still felt like myself, which was really important to me.
Talking to her felt like chatting to a friend; it excited me throughout the trial, and kept me calm on the morning of my wedding.
Carys- you are just brilliant, and I cannot thank you enough! You gave me the priceless gift of feeling beautiful on my wedding day. -

I cannot recommend Carys enough! She did an absolute dream job for my wedding. I have genuinely never felt so pretty, and my hair and makeup stayed completely flawless all day and night with zero issues.
I also did a trial with her (I'd definitely recommend!) and she made me feel really at ease as well as my MIL as she wanted to come and watch due to her being nervous about having her own hair and makeup done on the day. My MIL ended up going for both after the trial as Carys made her feel so at ease! She spent loads of time during the trial talking to me about what I like and did the most stunning look with minimal changes on the day!
Beyond being an incredibly talented artist, Carys was a total lifesaver. When things started getting chaotic on the morning of the wedding, she went so far above and beyond. She kept me completely calm, ran around to keep everything seamless, and got me to the church on time!
She also brought in two assistants Brooke and Sian who were great! Everyone in the party looked incredible and was thrilled with their results.We couldn't recommend any of them enough. They all made us look like us but enhanced our natural features and making us feel so incredible on the day! Definitely book Carys!!

Carys is fantastic!
I couldn’t recommend Carys enough. Honestly, she is an amazing HMUA and she really knows what shes doing! She made me and my bridal team feel so beautiful and I was so happy with how I looked on my wedding day! She listens to what you want and really hits the brief! Not only this but Carys is such a lovely person who can hold a conversation and is really down to earth. Having her there on the morning calmed my nerves and she’s really one of the girls! Thank you Carys! -

Exceptional Service from Start to Finish
Carys was an integral part of our special day. She not only has a calm and professional, friendly manner but is also an exceptional artist for hair and make-up!! We were so relieved that we didn’t have to hire two separate companies and Carys made a personalised schedule so the whole process was easy. The entire bridal party were thrilled with the finishes. Whether it’s minimal and natural or full-glam, Carys does it all. Couldn’t be happier. Memories we’ll treasure forever. Thank you ❤️ -
