About
Hello, I’m Rebecca — welcome to my page. I’m so happy you’re here, and I hope you’ve enjoyed looking through my work so far. I’d love to share a little more about myself and the style behind my work.
I’ve been working as a Makeup and Hair Artist for over 15 years across beauty, fashion, film and television. Over the years, I’ve developed a style that is inspired by the timeless elegance of old Hollywood glamour — think Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s — while still keeping the makeup soft, modern and effortlessly beautiful.
My approach is always centred around enhancing natural beauty rather than masking it. I want every bride to feel like the very best version of themselves: confident, radiant and comfortable. Creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere on the wedding morning is just as important to me as the makeup itself, and I truly love being part of those special moments with my brides and their closest family and friends.
As a neurodivergent artist myself, creating a calm and comfortable environment naturally sits at the heart of my work. I understand how important it is to feel emotionally at ease and never overwhelmed on your wedding morning, and I always strive to create a gentle, reassuring experience for everyone around me.
As an artist at heart, creativity has always been a huge part of my life. When I’m not painting faces, you’ll usually find me painting on paper or canvas. During lockdown, I rediscovered my love for art and began creating animal and pet portraits, which quickly became something I found both joyful and therapeutic. Water colour will always be my favourite medium as there’s something so soft, delicate and calming about it that I absolutely love. One day, I’d love to have my own little art studio and learn pottery too.
Thank you so much for visiting my page on Hitched and I hope to be part of your special day.
