Hi, I’m Emma, the face behind Bridal by Hamlet

With around five years of experience in the hair and makeup industry, I have a real passion for creating modern, luxurious bridal looks that enhance natural beauty and make my brides feel confident, comfortable and completely themselves.

I hold a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Media Makeup and Hair and have continued to develop my skills through private training, masterclasses and workshops, attending regular education to keep my techniques current and ensure I can offer the highest standard of service to my brides.

My approach is calm, personal and attentive. I understand that having your hair and makeup professionally done can feel daunting, particularly if it is not something you regularly have done. That is why I take the time to listen to you, understand your preferences and make sure you feel completely comfortable throughout the experience.

I believe your bridal look should enhance who you are, rather than change you. Whether you prefer a very natural makeup look or want to feel a little more polished and glamorous, my aim is always to create something that feels authentic to you.

One of my favourite parts of being a bridal artist is becoming part of the excitement of the wedding morning. I love the atmosphere, the laughter, the anticipation and being surrounded by the people who mean the most to you. Most of all, I love seeing the moment a bride looks in the mirror and realises just how incredible she feels.

It is a real privilege to be trusted with such an important part of your wedding day, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is not only for you to look beautiful, but to feel relaxed, confident and truly looked after from the moment we begin.
