Bowie was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole wedding make up and hair journey. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She was absolutely incredible from our initial bridal makeup trial to the wedding day itself, she was so communicative, professional, and reassuring every step of the way (through booking and explaining the process, online video consultation, the MUA trial, communicating in the run up to the wedding, coordinating bridesmaid make ups and amendments).

On the big day, she and her colleague worked together on all 10 of us — including both mums (bride and groom) and all the bridesmaids. She really listened to everyone’s individual preferences and brought each vision to life beautifully. Every single one of us looked and felt stunning — the makeup and hair were flawless. Specifically, she helped me incorporate my traditional cultural hair accessories and made it go so well with the overall look.

She was perfectly on time, and we were ready ahead of schedule. She coordinated effortlessly with our photographers, videographers and wedding coordinator on the day. She stayed behind for touch-ups and quickly helped with my hair change between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.

Everyone’s hair and makeup held up the entire day and night without a single worry (it lasted through rain and dancing). I booked Bowie to do our hair and makeup for my son's wedding. There were five of us, the groom's mum (me) the three groomsmen's partners and a flower girl. Bowie's communication on the run up to the wedding was fantastic. By the actual day she knew exactly what we all wanted and had given us a timetable beforehand of who was getting done and when. She was so organised.
She arrived on time, set up and worked her way through the morning in a very calming, supportive, and professional way.
My makeup looked and felt great for the whole day. My hair looked and felt amazing and again stayed in for the whole day.

I chose Bowie as my makeup artist for our Scottish caste wedding outside Edinburgh. She was one of the few MUA I could find who had experience with Asian makeup located near Edinburgh, and I’m so glad I found her!

Leading up to the wedding, Bowie was super communicative. We had a call to talk about preferred styles and she gave advice on skincare leading up to the big day. I was able to purchase face masks according to her recommendation so that my skin was prepared to look its best!

The day before the wedding, I did my makeup trial with Bowie. I loved the direction she was going, and she even changed my hair so that I could wear it to dinner with my family without giving away the next day look.

I chose Bowie out of many makeup companies in Scotland for my wedding. I tried another makeup artist first before I met Bowie, but she didn't understand how I wanted to look on my wedding day, and she was not professional and didn't meet my expectations. I was disappointed and had little hope to find someone that would make me look pretty and comfortable in my makeup. After that, we found her and I had a trial makeup session with her. The makeup that Bowie put on me looked much more natural since she has varieties of good makeup tools and items; she could apply the best suited items for me. After the trial, I instantly decided to go with her.
A few weeks before the wedding, Bowie and I had a video call to finalize my hairstyle, makeup etc. where I could tell her my final thoughts and requests.
On the wedding day, she did a great job on my face and hair, I couldn't be more happy. She did bridesmaids' hair as well with a good timely manner.
Overall, I was truly happy that I could work with her. She is detail oriented and caring, which I really appreciate.

I was so thankful that I met Bowie and had her to be my makeup artist for my wedding. I first engaged her for a wedding makeup trial and I would highly recommend for anyone. On the wedding day:
(1) the quality of the makeup - Bowie is really good at it and professional; my makeup lastest all day long and Bowie was there to help with touch-ups (2) Bowie would really go the extra mile to accommodate your preferences - I am an Asian but way tanner so it was important for me to let her find a look that compliments my complexion; also, I did let her know what other eye makeup preferences so she actually studied my features prior to the wedding and bought makeup that suits just for my wedding day! (3) A person to trust on your big day: What I found most important and grateful is that Bowie is genuinely very nice and someone you can trust on the day. She would share all the wedding experience and make sure you don't panic since the start of the day. She makes you feel good and make sure you glow inside out - and that I was most thankful for!
