Barnet + Boatrace aren't your average wedding glam quad! We bring pro level Wedding Hair and Makeup magic to brides, grooms (yes, grooms too!) and everyone else that's needed in your wedding party in Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and most recently London.
Our Mission?
To make your wedding morning feel like the best pre-wedding party ever, however that looks like to you. Whether that's a relaxing pre-wedding yoga sesh, sea swim or sipping champagne and swinging from the chandeliers - we've experienced it all!
You can fully relax whilst we get you looking and feeling like absoloute celebs - without judgement.
With over 20 years of industry experience our Head Stylists + Lead Makeup Artists (and dream team of 20 talented hair and makeup pros) with some impressive CV's having worked in the US in production and film, run way models at London Fashion Week as well as for some renowned beauty brands such as M.A.C and BareMinerals we are well positioned to look after you on your wedding day.
Services Offered
We use a variety of beauty shelfie favourites, such as premium makeup from Huda, M.A.C, Danessa Myricks, Mii Cosmetics + BareMinerals (suitable for sensitrive skin), Charlotte Tilbury, Osis, Bedhead by Tigi, to name but a few.
Our skills and expertise, coupled with our calm nature, ensure your Pinterest beauty boards spring to life and that your wedding day runs smoothly and to schedule.
Whether you're an LGBTQ+ couple or have a large wedding crew or just want to avoid a 5am start time - we're all for this. Mum's the word if you have high-maintenance mothers or bridesmaids who need to feed bubbas - we know how to read a room.
A Hair and Makeup Preview is not essential; however, we do recommend booking one to take place 2 - 3 months before your big day.
Prices typically include:
- 1 - 2 Professionals (You can choose a Head, Lead, Senior or Graduate)
- Your own 'Hair + Makeup Fairy Godmother' to keep everything organised and well co-ordinated
- Full consultation and Preview (either in person or via video call) with the same Hair Stylist + Makeup Artist as booked for the day
- Premium quality makeup and hair products used (including those suitable for Vegans)
- The latest styling tools such as GHD, Cloud Nine, Dyson, hair pins, grips brushes, etc
- Your own Personalised Client Portal to keep track on important dates, invoices + other key info
- Helpful Guidelines along the way

Meet the team
I started my professional makeup journey in 2004 after falling in love with Richard Bransons' skincare and cosmetics and joining his company Virgin Vie.
I've always had a passion for all things makeup and before social media took off this was a great way for me to learn the basics of skincare and cosmetics alongside a reputable brand.
As I quickly grew my network of customers I often got requests for bridal makeup so I undertook further training with the company to learn the skills to do bridal makeup - and haven't looked back since!
My hair career first started in1995 when I started a local apprenticeship at Joanne's Creative Hair Design.
I have been fortunate to work in various roles within local hair salons in Bournemouth, Ringwood and Westbourne expanding my knowledge by attending workshops at TONI&GUY and Wella in London.
After having my daughter in 2008 I focussed my skills on my main passion - wedding hair.
