The speech was well received, although I felt a lot of pressure following the father of the bride, who gave an absolute stormer of a speech that had the entire audience eating out of the palm of his hands! Tough act to follow.
I borrowed a lot from other speeches on this site, and also found the Speech Delivery Guide invaluable. It is important not to try and rush through - they are on your side, and are desperate to enjoy whatever you have to say.
I found that taking a sip of my drink during each toast created a natural break in the delivery, which helped me relax even further.

Each table was named after a different city Kylie and I have been to. Sante is the French word for Cheers, and the head table was called Paris.
