Truly wonderful and stress free day
We would like to start by thanking you and your wonderful team on the organisation at our wedding. From the beginning you personally were very enthusiastic and showed a true sense of interest. This was borne out in the way the day went. We had so many excellent comments from our guests ranging from the staff attitude to the quality of the food .The service is to be highly commended and the staff were efficient yet unobtrusive. Our compliments must go to the Chef and his team for a meal that was beyond excellence. So many of our guests commented on the appearance of the venue and said that this was the best wedding they had been to. We remember you saying for us not to worry, everything will be ok and it was. We really struggling here to express our gratitude but really cannot find the words to say the biggest Thank you to you and your colleagues for making this a truly wonderful and stress free day. Thank you for organising the wedding breakfast so beautifully. We are so pleased to have chosen the Grim’s Dyke for our special day. Many of our guests wrote and commented on the delightful venue, delicious food and wine. The quartet also played very well and the flowers were beautifully arranged. You took care of everything without hesitation.
I would like to start by thanking you all for the excellent service we received on our wedding day. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and nothing is too much trouble for them. All of our guests commented on their efficiency and they made everything run so smoothly it was an absolute pleasure. The two waiters on the day were extremely friendly and helpful they created a great atmosphere for us, we can’t find words to express our gratitude. Our functions manager was superb, he was gracious, engaging, courteous and considerate, he made us so relaxed and took care of everything without hesitation. he is a real asset to your team and we cannot thank him enough for all the help and advice he gave us. We were only a small group but we weren’t made to feel inferior. 11th July 2010

We wanted to say an extremely belated thank you for making our wedding the most perfect day we could have ever hoped for. We fell in love with the hotel from day one. Everyone of our guest, half of whom had travelled from Ireland, felt that your hospitality was faultless and that you went the extra mile in every way to make them feel special. You played a huge part in bonding two new families together at such an auspicious time. Both families were able to relax and savour every moment of the day, without an inch of stress. The chef should be proud of the preparation
This is our second daughter that has had their reception at The Grim’s Dyke and it just seems to get better. All the staff should be congratulated on the great service we received; they could not do enough for us. The wedding breakfast was excellent, well served. And the chef should be proud of the preparation, all our guest commented on the standard of the food. As we said all the staff were marvellous but we would like to mention Sarah Hayes and Richard Ferris who worked so hard in the arrangements for the event. One other member of your staff who we feel deserve a mention for her services is the young lady in the bar on the Friday evening and again on Saturday. 6th February 2010

We always felt you were genuinely interested in us
Thank you for everything you and your staff did to make our Wedding Day so perfect in every way. With your advice and attention to detail we know you have organised many weddings at the Grim’s Dyke before but we always felt you were genuinely interested in getting it just right for us. Your recognised the lead up to the big day can be very stressful but your filled us with confidence that everything would go to plan. Apart from some of our guests not turning up on time, it did!
