We weren’t set on having a videographer for our wedding but I’m so glad we did ! From the first meeting we were made to feel relaxed and listened to. On the day we barely knew we were being filmed which is just what we wanted.
We have just had our preview through and it’s perfect , our own song choices and beautiful shots ! I would 100% recommend VIP wedding films and Derek to anybody on the edge of booking for your big day !

Derek was a fantastic wedding videographer! We were unsure if we wanted a full wedding film but we are so glad we did! I was worried incase all I would see on my wedding day would be cameras but Derek used a great discrete camera and blended into the back ground! He is so kind and happy to be a part of your special day!

Derek was amazing - communication throughout was excellent, and we received our highlight video within the week and all our video content within the month, we can’t wait to show all our family over Christmas!

We couldn't be happier that we chose VIP Wedding Films Scotland to capture our big day in July. Prior to the day Derek arranged to meet with us and guided us through the process with professionalism and expertise. He kept in contact in the run up to our wedding, updating us on times and reminding us of what our package would include. We opted for the Platinum package, which was excellent value for money, and we chose to include the guest audio video phone which was a lovely little extra!
On the wedding day, Alejandro was fantastic! He was professional, punctual and fastidious in his endeavours to capture the perfect shots. He blended in effortlessly, never intrusive, yet managed to capture so many creative and meaningful moments, including ones we hadn’t noticed ourselves.
We received our video highlights within a few days, a lovely surprise whilst we were on our Honeymoon, and the full presentation was delivered in good time and to an excellent standard. The final video reflects not only the big highlights but also the small, heartfelt details that made the day special.
We’re truly grateful to the team at VIP for their skill and care in preserving our memories.

We booked VIP wedding films 3 years before our wedding and the communication on the run up was fantastic from Derek and our messages were always answered promptly. We got told we were getting Alejandro the day before the wedding but this didn't hinder anything whatsoever, Alejandro is an absolute credit to the team, most of the time you wouldn't even know he was filming! He worked seemlessly along side our photographers and content creator. We received our highlights video a month after our wedding date and there's never a dry eye watching it back it's just absolutely stunning! We have yet to receive our full edited video as we are only 5 weeks past our wedding but we are sure this will be as amazing as the highlights and can't wait to watch our full day back.

Alejandro filmed our day. He worked seamlessly with our photographer (bbPicture) to capture our day. Video was natural with smooth editing. We felt at ease as he was discrete and had everything under control. A company that knows what they are doing. We also received recordings of all the ceremony and speeches with our full videos as well as a highlight video. Not all companies do this for the same price. We received the highlight video a month after our wedding and the full videos, part 1 and 2, 2 months afterwards which is a quick turn around compared to some of my friends. A special video we will treasure forever. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I booked Derek for my wedding in July and he was brilliant, I had originally booked a package with a photographer included but then changed my mind about the photographer and this was no problem to change. I felt it was great value for money, nothing was too much of a problem and Derek was around at all times recording during the day. He even kindly recorded my singing waiters for me which is amazing to have as part of the video! I received the highlight reel really quickly and then received the full video within the month which I really appreciated. Thanks so much Derek!

Stephen and I had a wonderful wedding day filled with joy, excitement and happiness. Derek was absolutely fantastic and also very discreet but has captured so many wonderful moments that I never knew of. I am actually extremely emotional just viewing the highlights of our day so I cannot wait to see my full video. VIP wedding films are amazing! Derek is so easygoing, very responsive with any queries, had a pre wedding meeting were we just chatted and planned out the day, really down to earth throughout the whole process. On the day itself they just blended into the background and where in no way intrusive or in your face, I actually forgot the cameras where on us at most times so I know this will make for a great video. It was just one less thing to be aware of on the day the passes like a blur. Derek was so easygoing and probably one of the most relaxed people I’ve ever met. He was always smiling and just seemed to fit in perfectly. Chatting to guests and to us, conversation flowed well. We were honoured to have VIP as our videographer and would recommend them to everyone and anyone. The value for money was great, just a really good price for a fabulous service!

Derek was an outstanding videographer for our wedding day at the Brig o Doon in August this year. His communication beforehand was excellent and really put us at ease.

On the day itself he was so unobtrusive that we didn’t even realise he was there much of the time, yet he managed to capture all those genuine special moments that mean so much to us. We received our wedding reel back very quickly and the final video is fantastic. The editing is beautiful and we were able to include all the songs we wanted which made the video truly personal.

Dereks professionalism and discreet approach meant our guests felt completely comfortable and he documented our day naturally without being intrusive.
