Maureen was our first choice of Celebrant for our wedding. She helped us with all the legals things that come with getting married, answered any questions we had nothing was to silly to ask. She put us both at ease with trusting her to write our journey together. Maureen made everyone laugh/smile/cry/cheer at all the right places in our wedding. Maureen even did a run through with myself the night before to make sure everything ran smoothly. I can't say enough about working with Maureen, she made us feel special from day one. As we are based in the States I wasn't familiar with the different paperwork and requirements to get married in Scotland, and she was well-informed and guided me through the entire process. She also set aside time to meet with us in person upon our arrival to Scotland to get to know us better and talk through details. Maureen is also very kind and funny, which really put us at ease and made the experience even more enjoyable.

Her ceremony speech was very personal to us, and brought tears to my eyes when I first read it. Many of our guests also mentioned how great it was, and complimented Maureen on the wonderful ceremony.

Given the choice, I would choose Maureen 10x over and strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant.
