We went to lots of wedding shows and met so many celebrants but in one video call I knew Maureen was perfect for us. She is charismatic, funny and professional. We wanted someone to tell our story in a lighthearted and warm manner and she was perfect. She kept us right the whole time, responded quickly, checked in lots and sent us over a preview of our script so we knew exactly what to expect. My new Husband & I got married 1 week ago today at Enterkine House Hotel and what a team of suppliers that we had but it literally wouldnt have been possible to get married with out Maureen.
From the first video call with Maureen we feel so comfortable with her, she understood as really well as couple and captured us perfectly in her reading during the ceremony.
Maureen couldn't have made the process any easier, it wasn't stressful one little bit and we looked forward to our meetings with her.

We chose Maureen to be our celebrant for our wedding on Friday 7th March 2025. From the moment we booked her we knew we made the right choice, she's so lovely to talk to and made us feel very comfortable. She was in touch quite a lot and walked us through everything she needed from us and what we had to do. Maureen made our day go smoothly. She talked everyone through their roles before the ceremony so everyone felt at calm and ease. I felt particularly nervous as the bride and Maureen made me feel so relaxed and calm. Our guests were all engaged during the ceremony as Maureen worded our story beautifully and also with a bit of humor which I loved. Would 100% recommend.

Maureen made me feel so at ease I was not stressed at all even when we were running 30 mins late! Maureen didn’t rush us at all, her speech was amazing also everything was on point. Nothing negative to say at all.

Maureen was brilliant from start to finish. We had multiple video calls leading up to the wedding where she talked us through everything step by step. Maureen tailored the service around us which made it so personal, finding out about us, asking us to write things about each other that she then brought into the ceremony. She even suggested things to add into the ceremony that we had not thought about or even heard of, suck as “jumping the broom” and “hand fasting”
Maureen delivered our ceremony with charm and dedication, even through the screams of our 3 month old at all the crucial bits, she held everyone together.
I really can’t recommend her enough, especially if you’re the groom reading this, Maureen kept intouch and didn’t let me forget to do any of my bits!

Maureen has been amazing since the very start. From the initial phonecall, getting to know us and helping with the legal side of things. She is super friendly and made our ceremony personal, relaxed and fun. We are so glad we choose her.

My husband and I are quite introverted so we were a bit intimidated by the amount of attention we would be getting on our wedding day, but Maureen made the most stressful part - the ceremony - a breeze.

She made sure to have multiple calls with us priory to the big day and asked us a lot of questions about how we met and what we think of each other to write a beautiful speech about us. She even put in a few words in Polish to honour my family who travelled from Poland for the wedding. Also we incorporated our take on a Polish tradition as I wanted to really embrace my roots, so she seamlessly adapted a unique celebration into our day.

Another huge help was the fact that we met up in the venue about a week before the wedding to go over the ceremony structure and we practiced our handfasting. This was apparently greatly needed because we made a couple mistakes during the first try.

All in all, we were extremely happy with how our wedding ceremony went and all of our guests were also very impressed by how cheerful, loving and unique it was.

I can't say enough about working with Maureen, she made us feel special from day one. As we are based in the States I wasn't familiar with the different paperwork and requirements to get married in Scotland, and she was well-informed and guided me through the entire process. She also set aside time to meet with us in person upon our arrival to Scotland to get to know us better and talk through details. Maureen is also very kind and funny, which really put us at ease and made the experience even more enjoyable.

Her ceremony speech was very personal to us, and brought tears to my eyes when I first read it. Many of our guests also mentioned how great it was, and complimented Maureen on the wonderful ceremony.

Given the choice, I would choose Maureen 10x over and strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant.

Maureen was our first choice of Celebrant for our wedding. She helped us with all the legals things that come with getting married, answered any questions we had nothing was to silly to ask. She put us both at ease with trusting her to write our journey together. Maureen made everyone laugh/smile/cry/cheer at all the right places in our wedding. Maureen even did a run through with myself the night before to make sure everything ran smoothly.
