Ale was my videographer for my wedding on the 16.05.26, and he was just fantastic! He captured our day so well and worked amzing along side our photographer BBPictures and our content creator Jane from WediMedia, they were the dream team 🤩!
Derek then edited our video and made our wedding highlights which turned out so good! it’s so nice to watch your day over and see the moments you missed or forget, and is something we will cherish forever. Derek always kept us up to date with how long it would take etc. and we couldn’t believe we got it back in 2/3 weeks since we got married! Derek and Ale are fantastic and I highly recommend any brides and grooms to get these guys booked! Thank you again from Me and Mrs McLaren, Emily and Stuart and Nala 🤩✨🥰 -

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Derek at VIP Wedding Films Scotland.
From our very first contact, Derek was friendly, professional, and incredibly easy to deal with. On the wedding day, he blended seamlessly into the background and was so subtle that we barely noticed he was there, yet he managed to capture every important moment perfectly.
What really impressed us was the turnaround time. We received our full wedding film just 8 days after the wedding, which exceeded all our expectations.
Watching the film was an emotional experience. Derek captured so many moments that we completely missed on the day while we were having photos taken, greeting guests, and moving between different parts of the celebration. It brought back so many wonderful memories and allowed us to relive our day from a completely different perspective.
The quality of the film is fantastic, and we are absolutely delighted with the final result. If you're considering a videographer for your wedding, we would highly recommend VIP Wedding Films Scotland.

We chose VIP wedding services for our big day on the 16/5/2026 and Derek certainly didn’t disappoint. Derek worked alongside Stephen from Belvedere Images both were great at what they do. Nothing was a bother, they blended into the crowd capturing excellent footage of our day.
After the wedding the also kept in touch and the timescale for the turnaround in receiving our wedding footage was fantastic, we were able to watch our wedding video on honeymoon in Vegas which was an extra bonus. I can’t thank these guys enough and would highly recommend ⭐️ -

Wow, VIP wedding film and Derek in particular was an amazing part to our day. Only 1 week after our wedding, Derek has edited our highlights and our full wedding day. We got to enjoy some film whilst on our honeymoon. He was brilliant throughout the day and you would hardly know he was there. No big cameras in your face, just blended right in. He has captured so many magical moments of our day and we are so glad we have so many happy memories of our day to look back on. Absolutely could not recommend Derek enough!! -

Derek was really great on the day. He arrived in the morning to capture all the chaos of getting ready and you would honestly not even know he was there (which is exactly what you want). He just moved around from room to room making sure all the moments were captured. At the venue, it was just the same—doing what he does best and making sure all the special moments of the day were caught on video. He captured so many moments that we didn’t even get to see ourselves on the day, which has been so special to look back on. We have loved watching back our highlights and video to relive our special day that has been captured so perfectly!

VIP Wedding Films Scotland were absolutely incredible and played such a special part in our day.
From the moment they arrived, they were professional, friendly, and so easy to be around. They captured everything so naturally — the emotions, the laughter, the little moments we didn’t even realise were happening. It genuinely felt like they understood exactly what mattered to us.
Just over a week and a half after the wedding, we received our preview film, and it completely blew us away. The way they pieced the moments together was beautiful. It brought all the emotions of the day flooding back and left us both in tears (the good kind). Their talent for storytelling is something truly special.
We’re so grateful for the care, creativity, and heart they put into capturing our wedding. They didn’t just film our day — they preserved memories we’ll treasure forever.

Mr and Mrs Crane
Derek you are the most easygoing person we have ever met, not intrusive at all and you captured the moments beautifully 🩵. You embraced.the elements and captured out day beautifully, nothing felt posed or forced and that’s what videography should be- not imposing but seamlessly blending in. I can’t wait to see our video as it’s all such a blur it will be nice to see it back and be able to re-live it all over again!

From morning to night went great very professional and well with in budget happily recommend them to others
The whole day and night was amazing and thanks to the photographers etc they made the day / night with them constantly making sore they got all the best pics etc -
