We are Wedding Cinematographers who believe in capturing your day with the warmth, texture and authenticity it deserves; in crafting real moments with real people. That’s why we shoot on Super 8 film, a format famous for its nostalgic and timely aesthetic. We want your wedding day to look and feel different, but more than that, we want it to feel as timeless and as fun as the day actually was. This isn’t about overly posed and glossy; it’s about authentic moments with your nearest and dearest preserved on film forever.
What is Super 8 film?
Have you ever used a disposable camera and had the excitement of waiting for the film to be developed? Well, that’s essentially what Super 8 is as a video format. Super 8 comes in the form of a small film cartridge, which has about 3 minutes of film in each one. This means it’s a finite resource, and what is shot can’t be changed.

My journey into shooting weddings started a few years ago a friend suggested to me that I should take the talents I developed and shoot weddings.
My first thought was “okay, but how can I do it in a way that feels unique? Honest?” And that question led to me discovering and falling in love with the Super 8 format. In doing so, the idea for the Memory Mill presented itself instantly. Suddenly I saw a way to shoot weddings in a style that reflected how I’d want my own filmed: nostalgic, candid, soft. A way to ensure weddings stood out, and had a timeless beauty.
As a filmmaker my goal is to deliver work that feels as incredible as the day it was filmed, and makes you want to watch again to relive. That’s the ethos of The Memory Mill.
