I'm Jon, a wedding content creator and videographer based in Poole, Dorset.

I've spent more than twenty years on tour with bands, from sweaty club shows to festival headline sets in front of 100,000 people. Live shows teach you that a moment only happens once, so you learn to read a room, be in the right place before it happens, and stay out of the way while it does. That's how I film weddings.

I work quietly, filming your day as it happens rather than directing it, and I keep an eye on the edges while you're busy with each other and your guests: the glance across the room, the in-laws meeting for the first time, the dance floor at its peak.

You'll get a live album of 40-60 social-ready clips and a highlights reel within 48 hours, so you can share your day while everyone's still talking about it.

What does the wedding package include?

Front Row: 6 hours of coverage (£500). Backstage Pass: 10 hours, getting ready to after-party (£800). Highlights within 48 hours. Add The Anthem, a 5-7 minute film, for £500

How far in advance should I contact you?

Get in touch as soon as you can, but don’t worry if your wedding’s coming up soon. Availability often opens up at short notice, so it’s always worth asking

What is the charge for travelling?

If you think it's too late, it probably isn't. I take short notice weddings and tour part of the year, so get in touch with your date and I'll tell you straight away if I'm free

What kind of technology do you use?

Digital

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I work unobtrusively, filming your day as it happens rather than directing it. Your photographer leads posed shots, I document the day as a whole, the big moments and the ones you’d otherwise miss

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use professional cinema grade cameras and lenses, with full backup equipment for reliability, and a gimbal for smooth, movie style movement throughout your film

How do you charge extra time?

Front Row is £500 for 6 hours and Backstage Pass is £800 for 10. Extra hours are £85 each. Planning a Lord of the Rings style epic? Get in touch and we can work out a fixed price

How do you work?

I work solo and unobtrusively, filming naturally as your day unfolds rather than directing it. After the wedding, I edit everything myself, so you get a film shaped by the same eye that shot it
