If you are looking for a wedding videographer, this is who to book!
From our first call with Alex, we knew they were the one and have never regretted our decision.
On the day, you generally don’t know the team is there, but when you do they make you laugh and help to keep you relaxed. Alex really added to my morning but at the same time captured so many shots I really didn’t know were being filmed.
All the shots they get are natural, making your video look like looking through the eyes of a guest.
The multiple cameras and drone shots means that nothing is missed and one moment can be captured in multiple views.
You can see how much they love their jobs with the care, attention and detail that goes in your videos.
The fact you get six videos is amazing, to relive the day where it’s easy to forget some details. The cinematic film is just that- a film! But such a perfect length that you can watch it again and again.
As an avid watcher of all their videos, every video is different reflecting the couple and how the day went.

We honestly couldn’t recommend WVE more!
From my first phone call with Alex, I knew they were the videographers for us. We had Ellis and Amie with us on the day and my word were they absolutely incredible. They were not merely just videographers, they were friends and coordinators too. They made everyone feel at ease from the moment they arrived.
When things got stressful for me as the bride when things went wrong such as our cake melting and guests trying to postpone our sunset shoot so we could say goodbye, Amie helped me to stay calm, she injected fun into the proceedings by suggesting we all skip to the sunflower field.
We have received so many comments about how unobtrusive the two of them were and most of our guests didn’t even realise we had videographers!
If you’re looking for professional videographers for your wedding who fit in seamlessly and make you feel relaxed and at ease, look no further! -

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photography and videography team. From the moment I first spoke to Alex, he made me feel completely at ease, and that feeling continued right through to our wedding day.
Alex, Ellis and Amie were all incredible. They were so friendly, professional and genuinely felt more like friends than suppliers. They blended into the day so naturally that most of the time we didn’t even realise they were there, which was exactly what we wanted. They captured everything so effortlessly without ever making us feel like we were constantly being photographed or filmed.
To top it all off, we received 100 sneak peek photos and two highlight videos within just three days of the wedding. We genuinely couldn’t believe how quickly they arrived, and it was so special to be able to relive the day while everything was still so fresh.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photography and videography team! From the very start, Alex was incredibly helpful, providing detailed information about what to expect on our wedding day and taking the time to really understand our vision.
On the day itself, Ellis, our photographer, made us feel completely at ease and captured every moment so naturally and beautifully. The photos are absolutely stunning and perfectly reflect the emotions and atmosphere of the day. Alex and Amie also did an amazing job capturing everything on video. Watching our highlight reels takes us straight back to those special moments, and we’ve already watched them countless times.
The Wedding Video Essex team were professional, creative, organised, and attentive throughout the entire day. They captured not only all the important moments, but also the little details we may have otherwise missed. Our friends and family have all commented on how incredible both the photos and videos are.
What also really stood out to us was the aftercare and customer service. We asked for a few small edits to some of the photos afterwards — including adding bouquets into a couple of pictures where they’d been forgotten, adjusting positioning in a group photo, and a few other touch-ups. The team were more than happy to help, completed all the edits free of charge, and turned everything around so quickly. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and we were so grateful for the care and attention they gave to making sure we were completely happy with everything.

Alex has been absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process! From consultation right up until today - 9 months after our wedding!
My now husband & I had to arrange our Marriage quickly, due to my Mum being diagnosed with terminal Cancer.
I found Wedding Video Essex on Hitched and sent them the autogenerated contact message, before actually looking at their website.
Once I did, I thought they were way out of our budget. However, when I said this to Alex, he explained that they had Junior Photographers who needed experience doing Lead & our wedding would be just the ticket.
So, we had various conversations in the meantime and, with my Parents help, ended up with a package for photos and a Highlights video.
A few days before the wedding, Alex surprised me by saying that he (the Lead Videotographer) and Ellis (one of the Lead Photographers) would be the ones coming on the day!
They were amazing! I had asked for specific group photos and, not only did they make the process easy, they made it fun too!
I spoke with all of my guests after the wedding and every single one spoke enthusiastically of them. Each had their own, unique experience and everyone sung their praises!
Friendly, fun, professional, helpful, considerate, thought they were friends of ours. Very aware of their surroundings and of other people trying to take photos. Happy to take requests & spotted opportunities for great photos, that I'm sure others would have missed!
When the photos and videos came through, we were incredibly impressed!
So many fantastic photos and the Highlights video has been edited brilliantly!
I was also surprised to find videos of the actual ceremony and the (very last minute!) speeches!
I cannot thank Alex, Ellis and the team enough. They took our cobbled together celebration and made it look like months of planning - I can only imagine what they're able to achieve with months of planning and a full programme!

You and your husband were an absolute joy to work with, and given everything you were carrying with your Mum's diagnosis, the way you both held that day with so much love and warmth was something Ellis and I will never forget. We felt genuinely lucky to be there.
The truth is you made our job easy. A room full of people that kind and that happy to be celebrating you both gives us everything we need. And honestly, you'd never have known it was pulled together quickly, the love in that room did all the heavy lifting.
Hearing that your guests felt like we were old friends might be the best compliment we could ever get. That's exactly how we like to work.

Excellent company and genuinely lovely guys. They know what they are doing and do it well BUT one piece of advice regardless of who you choose… Know what you want and tell them!!! These guys really will need a clear idea of how you see your wedding video unless of course you’re just happy with a style that you’ve seen on there website. The guys can’t film everything at once so you need to tell them your vision so that they can focus on getting the right footage on the day. If you’re the type of couple that want maximum glamour and style then they can focus on getting those shots of sweeping dresses and delicately sipped champagne which fit perfectly into the Cinematic video style. However, you want to relive the day with all the little details such as pre wedding shenanigans of the bridal party getting ready, touching details like the grandparents arriving at the venue or all out fun on the dance floor the videographers need to know. We assumed the videographers could do it all at once and probably made too many assumptions but having said that Wedding Video Essex really went out of their way to provide us with what we wanted. Every wedding is different and every couple values different moments, so knowing whether you're after that glossy cinematic feel or all the little behind the scenes details helps us point the cameras in the right place at the right time.
What I love is that even when a few things weren't spelled out, we still got there together and ended up with something you were happy with. That means a lot.

Superb service!
We hired Alex and his team last year for our wedding and I couldn't be more happy that we did. The service was perfect from start to finish, complete professionalism but with a personal touch. All the worrys we had were quickly quashed on the day, Alex and his team were spot on with everything, not a detail missed or a small thing overlooked.
