Hello, I am Rafal, the wedding videographer behind Janko Films, a Sussex based studio capturing weddings across the South East and beyond.
I am known for a calm, friendly and discreet approach that allows your day to unfold naturally. Many couples tell me they barely noticed I was there, yet are amazed by how much emotion, atmosphere and detail is captured when they watch their films back.
My style is candid and documentary led, focusing on real moments rather than anything staged or forced. From quiet, emotional exchanges to laughter, energy and the connections between your closest people, I aim to preserve the moments you may not even realise are happening at the time.
I place great importance on listening and understanding what matters most to you. From relaxed planning calls before the wedding to music choices and final edits, every film is tailored to reflect your story. Couples often mention how smooth the process feels, how seamlessly I work alongside photographers, and how comfortable they feel with me on the day.

Rafal did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day. The quality of the videos and the editing are truly top class, and his communication in the lead up to, on the day, and post-wedding was excellent.
Rafal managed to blend into the background during the day, didn’t ever feel in the way, and made us feel very comfortable.
Rewatching our entire wedding day documentary was so special. There are so many parts of the day that, as the couple, you either miss out on, or forget in the craziness of the day, but Rafal managed to capture it all and it means we can relive it time and time again.

Gave us the most perfect memory of our day!
Janko Films was absolutely amazing from start to end, he was very attentive and listened to the things we wanted and what exactly we wanted captured from our day, when we received our wedding video it brought us to tears all over again! It was the most perfect video and it captured our wedding perfectly, all of the little details were captured, the tears, the laughter, you can really see that he cares about his work and the couples he works with! I would 1000% recommend Janko Films to any other couple looking to book, we now have the perfect memory of our day forever caught on camera and I cannot thank him enough for it!

Simply wonderful!
My husband and I can't recommend Rafal enough. His calm, friendly presence made the whole experience so easy, and he managed to capture some absolutely beautiful scenes which we'll treasure for years to come. We feel so lucky to have had Rafal as our videographer for our wedding in September 2024. From the very start, he was warm, kind, and easy to communicate with – a genuinely lovely presence on the day. He worked seamlessly alongside our photographer and made everything feel relaxed and natural.
Rafal has a beautiful documentary style that meant nothing ever felt staged or forced. He captured the essence of our day so effortlessly, often without us even noticing he was filming! One of the most special parts of receiving our wedding video was seeing all the sweet, emotional moments between our guests that we hadn’t witnessed ourselves.
