The family-run team is on hand to support you and ease any stress; they will recommend trusted local suppliers and assist with supplier deliveries and set-ups. On the day itself, the team will be present to help with final details and coordinate guest arrivals and departures.

In the lead-up to the wedding, Oliver and his family were incredible. They were always available to answer questions, offer advice, and recommend suppliers. Their support, friendliness, and constant communication made the whole planning process so much easier.
On the big day, they were right there again, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. We truly couldn’t have asked for more. Woodland Hollow is not just a breathtaking outdoor venue—it’s run by the most wonderful people who genuinely care about making your day perfect.

Our experience at Woodland Hollow
The Woodland Hollow was the perfect venue for us as a couple, it truly felt like our place. From the very beginning, the family Ollie, Jennie and David, who run it took a genuine interest in who we were and what we envisioned for our day. That personal touch made all the difference.
One of the things we loved most was how flexible the space was. You're given full autonomy to shape the venue however you like. We could choose our own suppliers, decorate in our own style, and really make it feel like ours. It wasn’t a one-size-fits-all package, we were able to bring our own personality into every detail.
In the lead-up to the wedding, we were able to visit the site multiple times. From the Thursday before the big day, we had access to begin setting up, which made the whole experience so much more relaxed. There was no pressure to do everything in a single day. We took our time, wandered through the space, and decided where the ceremony would feel most special. We could move the tables, test different layouts, and create the atmosphere we wanted without rushing.
The family were incredibly accommodating, letting us come and go at flexible times to set things up. They were always available to support us without ever feeling intrusive.
On the wedding day itself, they helped with the arrival of supplies and made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Guests were guided by clear signposting from the road to a separate, spacious car park—something many appreciated. The setting itself is stunning, with sweeping countryside views that had everyone commenting on how beautiful and peaceful it felt.
Parents told us how safe it felt for their children to explore and play, which created a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. A few guests even camped overnight, which added to the sense of connection and celebration.
Choosing The Woodland Hollow meant we could craft a day that felt truly personal, supported by a thoughtful team and surrounded by nature. We wouldn’t have wanted it anywhere else.
Supportive, helpful and friendly
We went to look around the venue and it was humbly breathtaking. It was meant be, rustic, relaxed and naturally beautiful. The team at Woodland Hollow were so proactive in reaching out to our events team and at each step of the way nothing was ever too much bother.
Each time that we went to the venue, we had such wonderful experiences, the family would always come out to work with us and always made us feel soooooopo excited. Woodland Hollow isn’t just a venue, it is a supportive package with a team of people dedicated to making you feel special. We will always have great memories of our day, but also fond memories of working with such lovely people.
