From the start Henry at the Village Hotel Ashton was very helpful and definitely put our minds at ease. Our special day was perfect and everything went to plan. Food was amazing and staff was near by whenever we needed them. Everything was explained perfectly so nothing went wrong. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

We got married at the Village Hotel Ashton-under-Lyne in 2019 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lucy and her team were fantastic from start to finish — the customer service was truly amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble. The room was dressed beautifully and looked even better than we’d imagined on the day. Everything ran smoothly, which meant we could just relax and enjoy our wedding. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their special day.

Our wedding went perfectly, we chose a bespoke package, as there were very specific things that we wanted. We gave all of our ideas and they literally came to life, the team worked so hard to make our day so special.
The day was really reasonably priced. We were so looked after, I asked questions daily, and Bethanie was so helpful and reassuring.
The day was completely perfect from start to finish, and I recommend them so much. I cannot thank them enough.

We chose the Village hotel Ashton for our wedding reception for the location, excellent motorway, rail, tram and bus links plus the discounted rooms for those who wanted to stay over but we got so much more. From our first visit with event planner, Henry, we knew we made the right choice. A little gift of goodies upon arrival and he listened to all of our requests and suggestions and executed our vision perfectly. Henry took the lead from us and his suggestions complemented our ideas perfectly. Each visit for planning was an absolute pleasure and the staggered payment was a massive help for us to budget for the event. The actual evening was amazing and the whole team exceeded our expectations. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The dj kept everyone up and dancing all night and the communication with him about our playlist, first dance, speeches etc ensured the evening went smoothly. The decoration in the function room was very tastefully done and we were allowed early access to add our own personal touches. I have a major birthday coming up and am considering using the Village again. I would definitely recommend them, thank you to all concerned.

The venue, and especially our planner Henry, went above and beyond ensuring we had the perfect wedding reception.

We were given plenty of options (all clearly priced), lots of flexibility with what we wanted and how we wanted to do things, and kept informed of who would be looking after us, who our DJ would be, and the order of events.

From our 1st phone contact with Beth, our wedding co ordinator, we new everything we wanted for our wedding day, was going to be delivered. We chose a church service for our marriage, hence we didn't want our meal til 4pm, that wasn't a problem.
Tables were dressed & decorated beautifully.
The staff, on the day, were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble., thankfully, everything went to plan, with no hitches.
The food was very nice. We had particular dietary requirements due to severe allergies to dairy products, Beth & chef liased wth me directly, to
ensure there were no mistakes.

I had my wedding at the Ashton hotel on the 27th April 2013 and I just wanted to praise all of the staff that helped to organise and put together my dream wedding in just 3 weeks. My wedding was short notice as I lost my mum was diagnosed with cancer and we wanted her at the wedding. Unfortunately my mum passed away before the big day but, the staff helped us get through the hardest and best day of our lives.

One member of staff in paticular is an absolute credit to the company, Tory Fernandez. She is absolutely amazing and helped me every step of the way, she went above and beyond her job role and gave me a day to remember forever! Tory organised the food, the DJ room decor etc and made it as easy as possable for us. On the day a member of staff Rob was looking after us and he too was great! He made sure we had everything we needed and couldnt do enough for us.

They really do have the best staff and their customer service skills are the best I've ever known. All brides want to feel like a princess on the big day and thats exactly how Tory and the rest of the team made me feel! I will be recomending this hotel for all weddings etc and I know all of my guests will be too!

I wanted to make sure they all get the credit they deserve and Tory really is an asset!!!!
